Can't wait for the Sims 4 to get out of early access.
I could be wrong, but it looks like this one has more breeds then the previous ones.

One of the recent patches made it so that my characters will quit their jobs for no reason :v:
I still think Sims 4 is pretty great, though I really miss the sandbox element from 3.
Didn't they say (among other things like toddlers) that they WOULDN'T include pets? :v:

At launch.
When do they add cows as pets so you can milk them like EA milks this series?
No horses?
No horses?
No reason to have them since they completely abandoned the open world aspect of the game just for the sake of rushing out a product with "better performance" instead of changing the way it works.
I always found it funny how each game has the same exact expansions.
So is this game worth buying now?
I've only ever played the first one and the PS2 version of the second one, so I won't miss any of that open world stuff from 3.
Still not convinced about touching The Sims 4, it just feels overpriced and removing the open world aspect which was well received in 3 is just inexcusable, I've been spending money on the expansions for The Sims 2 that I missed out on instead.

I like this nod.

Pro tip before you go on spending more money on the sims 2, go contact EA/Origin support and tell them you want to buy the sims 2 but you can't find it on origin. In rare cases they will grant you the Sims 2 Ultimate for free, higher chances if you already owned the base game + any expansion (if you have the boxed versions send them pics of the box/key for proof). Note that this was last tested last year but its worth trying just in case they still honor it.

Now I'm sad.
As long as there is a mod/option to not have pets die I'll probably get this.

Just get 2 or 3.

It was well received but I always thought 3 was heavily unoptimized, and began to ran more and more like shit the more expansions you added...
Dear EA,
Please include pets and seasons in the Sims 5 base game.
Thanks
P.S. I'm still mad about create-a-style
P.P.S. Also, diving boards
When did they start just straight up using music?
I remember in many other trailers theyd get bands to record in simlish like this one:

Man, TS4 was such a dissapointment in so many aspects... the building tools are cool tho.
I think Sims 4 Create a sim is the best, sculpting wise.
Sims 4 wins on looks, create-a-sim, building tools, and some nice little additions like multitasking.
But it fails in making the game actually engaging, and feels more lifeless than the previous games.

I remember this trailer making me cringe when it first game out with the music and all that. This turned out to be the expansion with the most gosh damn content out of any Sims game so far, though. It helped accomplish what the Sims 3 was all about and utilized its open world. Sims 4 has yet to have an expansion like it.

10 years later, only 4 expansion packs
what are these devs doing
People surprised by this should know that this is The Sims's business model. Complete one game so they can release a new one so they can sell you all the same expansion packs again.

Where the hell did you get 10 years from?
