The Iron Dome rocket defense system intercepted five rockets fired by Palestinian terrorists in Gaza at Ashkelon early Thursday morning. An additional rocket may have landed in an open, uninhabited area. There were no injuries in the Palestinian attack. “We have prepared soldiers to react to an incident at any moment,” said a commander of an Iron Dome battery. The IAF responded to the rocket fire by attacking four targets in the northern Gaza Strip: a terror site, an underground rocket launcher, a weapons storage facility and a weapons manufacturing site, the IDF Spokesperson said. The spokesperson confirmed there were “direct hits” for all of the targets.
Soruce:http://www.jpost.com/Defense/Iron-Dome-intercepts-5-rockets-fired-at-Ashkelon-from-Gaza-338340
You forgot the source.
So... there were rockets fired from Gaza.. but the IAF responded by firing back at specific locations such as weapons caches, and armed areas; yet it wasn't expressly conveyed that those were the locations where they came from.. Hmmm.. Also, what the hell is a "terror site"?
Better source
Five people including four children have been injured in a series of Israeli air raids on the Gaza Strip, Palestinian medics have told the BBC. The raids took place on Thursday shortly after militants fired five rockets towards Ashkelon in southern Israel, the military said. An army spokesman said the missiles were intercepted. In Gaza, witnesses said planes attacked five different sites and explosions could be heard across the Strip. ... Israeli sources say no injuries were caused by Thursday's rocket attacks.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-25755078
