• Is it possible to never drink?

Well, the title is a bit of a misnomer. What I mean to ask is it possible to completely survive by drinking only your own sweat and piss. I mean, maybe one day we'll be able to create machines that will replace our bladders making our own piss completely drinkable and a viable source of liquid. I personally wouldn't want to drink it but if it was completely replenishable drinking your own piss could have it's benefits. I only ask as it might be useful for long expeditions / space travel / all nighters when you can't be bothered to go to the fridge. I suppose one day it might be possible, I know we're on the cusp of creating machines that can reorganise molecules and this may be the path to success of drinking our own sweat and piss! Would you want to though? (User was banned for this post ("Parody Thread" - RayvenQ))
Drink your own piss and come back with your results. You might feel different. In the inside.
Is it possible to post in ft/search google?
After you drink you own piss so many times, it basically filters into pure ammonia.
No, that would make us self-sustaining. Some matter will always be lost with each cycle, and we absorb the useful part of water before it becomes piss. There's a reason we eject that portion.
What is it with all these stupid fucking questions.
It's basically a micro-sandwich; a high-efficiency filter and heat-exchange system. The skin-contact layer is porous. Perspiration passes through it, having cooled the body. Motions of the body, especially breathing, and some osmotic action provide the pumping force. With a Fremen suit in good working order, you won't lose more than a thimbleful of moisture a day - even if you're caught in the Great Erg.
Dune presented an interesting solution to this
stop with the parody threads they arent funny
you will never re obtain all your liquids. also, you will never get the required nutrients... so you will die... piss can prolong your life though, according to the guy in betwen a rock and a hard place.
Yeah it's an interesting concept. Something I can;t help but wonder is if we could overcome the habit of drinking. I mean it's hard-wired into our brains. When I take methedrone I don't eat for the entire day, maybe there is something similar for drinking.
