• "Rabbit Vision" when stoned. Normal?

Hey guys. On Saturday I got stoned for about the fourth time under some trees, as the sun set in a local park. I smoked it without tobacco from a pipe with a friend and got pretty fucking high. After a while of feeling my body buzz I layed down, shut my eyes and had one of those comfy kind of dazes. It was awesome. But once I sat up I got worried. It looked as if everything was right up close. Shit was in 2d. Rabbit vision whatever you want to call it. I couldn't tell if people were far away or right next to me. Freaked me out pretty good although it only lasted 10 minutes or so. Has anyone had anything similar?
when I'm high I see a bunch of faces whenever I try to read text it's really spooky
That means you're very high. I love how weird depth perception can get when you're high. It seems more drastic the first few times you smoke, so you should take advantage of that.
Yea, it's normal, if i'm really high I see things in segments, like in squares or other shapes. Depth perception is kind of wierd when i'm on drugs like ecstasy, like someones fucking with the camera.
Shuttervision
The hell did you smoke?
pass that shit my way lol i love being baked outta my gord
I've only experienced that like twice. And it's always after having my eyes shut for a long time. What I normally get though is "movie vision". I have some kind of philosophical realization that I'm just a brain interacting with its environment by means of complex chemical reactions. Basically this means freedom of choice is an illusion that comes with not being omniscient. A puppet who can't see the strings, as Doc Manhattan would put it. So yeah, everything I do sometimes while high doesn't feel like a choice, it just feels like I'm going through the motions I would have gone through either way. Everything seems a little bit more "high def" in my field of vision, and a lot more colorful, so I feel like I'm numb in some movie theater in the depths of my psyche, watching my "life" play out on a movie screen. It's hard to explain. But I like it, because it makes me feel like I have nothing to worry about. Though my favorite sensation by far is "feeling" music. Being "inside" it. I want to hurry up and trip so I can experience synesthesia.
I wish I could have the infinite-weed cheat... It fucking sucks, my low budget only allows me to smoke 3g per week! I remember when I was working and that I was buying around 10g per week (usually 7g + a 3g).

I could ramble on about some other realizations and philisophical ideals that I've discovered while high, but I'll spare you, as well as my sleep. Good night.
Yeah I get that as well, but that other night when I tried DXM, holy shit my depth perception was incredible. I was lying on my bed looking at my laptop which would have been 30 cm away from my face, and it began flying away further and further (and obviously the fact that I was tripping contributed) until it was several kilometers away and I was some massive giant, and I felt like a mythical God because I was so big, sprawled across my gigantic bed, it was so incredible.
I've never had rabbit vision, but I have had sort of the opposite thing happen. I've had full-on 3d renditions of 2d objects. Basically, If I looked at a piece of paper with some writing and some pictures on it, the writing would be extruding out of the paper and the pictures were in full 3d, while still embedded in the page. Kind of reminded me of something form Harry Potter.
Me and my friends call that an "Adventure Movie High", It's like... nothing is real.

So, I try to like, do things that I wasen't meant to do, only to realize that I was going to do that anyway. When I get this, I also start seeing everything in 2D and when I look at peoples faces, it looks like there face is a frozen picture. I remeber my first time getting stoned, I kept yelling at my friends and making them do things again, because they were "ruining the scene"
When I get this, I also start seeing everything in 2D and when I look at peoples faces, it looks like there face is a frozen picture.
That is similar to the "rabbit vision" I'm talking about.
Shuttervision
I've had this the first few times I smoked. Your entire field of vision is choppy, like having 1 frame per second. It's psychedelic as fuck, too bad I haven't had it since then.
I had a strange visual trip over scren panels. Like my LCD computer screen, it seemed exceedingly bright, and i could see every single refresh of the screen when i moved my eyes. And strangely enough, even when straight i get a 'shuttervision' when i follow a moving object in the distance, like if i tried to watch something that was moving towards me at an angle, my vision is totally steppy, and appears to shake, but if something were to be moving faster i could watch it fine.

i've heard of people being so high they were cross-eyed, but i've never experienced anything like any of this i hold my drugs like charlie
like moving in a slow strobe light?
Yes.
I had that once when I was crazy high. Fucking love it.
I've had this the first few times I smoked. Your entire field of vision is choppy, like having 1 frame per second. Instead of 1 frame per second I would live 1 second then start on a blank page on the next second making it seem like things were going 1 frame at a time. fuuck.
When I first started smoking cannabis (age 12-13) I was smoking sativa strains. On high doses I would get the most fantastic experiences of everything seeming like it was 10,000 meters in front of me. Every step was as if I was walking a mile. Sativas fucking pwn.
When I get high, normally I get to a point where I focus in on one thing, and everything else is like it's not even there. It's annoying because people will be talking to me and I won't hear them unless I'm focusing on them.
Anyone get the floating arms? That shit's fucked.
I remember the second or maybe third time I got high... I got REALLY high. Started seeing auras around lights, rabbit vision, detached feeling, the whole deal. I had this realization that even when you're completely stoned you have these moments of soberdom where you're viewing everything that's going on from "the outside". And you're thinking "Wow, we look like the typical stoner stereotype." Then almost as immediately as it comes you're back in stoner-ville.
