It looks like it definitely is, which is a good thing. The rumours of what is supposedly going to happen to WHF are not good and a game set in that version would just not be the same at all.

Although I wish they'd focus on Attila a bit more first, I'm hyped for this!

I have every one of these games, it's good to see them branching out from "historical themes" as there are a lot of awesome ideas they could use for their next games. Maybe this will see the beginning of a new set of TW games?

Im still waiting for this to all turn out to be some big "oh we wanted more money so now all the armies are somehow different but only slightly but in enough of a way that -everyone- needs to buy new stuff"
(Theyve done it for minor armies a ton in 40k, oh you want to play a non-blue space marine army? buy these conversion kits that cost nearly as much as the models themselves)

Having the lore basically say "yeah everyone died the end" isnt exactly a smart move unless GW REALLY wants to milk dat spehs mahrine cause who the fuck plays fantasy bruh
