How would I go about making the following effects?

Hello,

I need some sound effects for something and I was wondering if anybody here could help me figure out how to replicate certain effects. I'm looking to make certain drum samples sound like they do in something like this [url]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0v7hNtPbA0[/url] (skip to around 0:53, very violent, loud etc). I'm pretty sure making things sound that way isn't especially hard so excuse me if that's a very n00b question. Also, I am wondering how to make things sound sort of "wet" like they do here [url]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usqfYnZNelQ[/url] (skip to around 2:00 but you can sort of hear it throughout the song in general, sorry that I can't be super specific for my example here).

Hopefully somebody here can give me a hand with this

That Venetian Snares track just sounds like a classic distorted kickdrum.

Take a 909 kick sample, and put a distortion plugin on it.

Ya I figured out how to properly do the kick distortion shortly after posting this haha.

The only thing I still am a bit iffy on is that `wet` sound, can`t seem to get that one done properly.
