Guatemala Follows U.S. Lead, Will Move Its Israel Embassy To Jerusalem

Trump didn't set a timetable for moving the U.S. Embassy, and neither did Guatemala's president.

its not a big surprise for me, israel has always had good relations and connections with guatemala. their embassy in Oakland is very popular and had many parties with, i assume, much of the members of the guatemalan congress when i visited my grandmother's house across the street. i also believe that much of the military and police use israeli arms because i remember seeing quite a lot of galils when i visited; so there probably is the underlying factor of appeasement to a trading partner.
