• Two new tracks! [Dubstep/instumental/electro]

Just made two new tracks. Worked on them for about a week, I EQ'd the drums so that they can be heard which was a frequent problem in my tracks. I also added noise for effects in the song like suggested and even added more samples. Any feedback is appreciated, Enjoy! The first song is interesting, I just feel like the melodies are too busy. It goes from a harmonic minor scale to a major scale kind of awkwardly. The groove of it is kind of cool though. Your use of samples in the second song really makes it more interesting to listen to. You have some cool progressions and grooves but my problem with it is that the synths are a little boring, maybe they need more distortion or something I don't know. The lead synth's portamento is cool, but it still lacks something... maybe another oscillator? Overall good work though! I like it.
I liked them.

I'll see if i could make another melody inside the song to have it make a little more sense. Thanks!
I think you need to slow the tempo down a bit, there's so many good sounding synths in there, and you're giving them no chance at all, hence making the song lack a professional sound. I can hear those synths when I listen closely, and I know you're putting in the effort to make them sound good, you just need the knowledge to use them right. Also, I know I've told you many times before, but I'd seriously consider getting some sample packs for your drums, even if they're free, they'd be better than your current ones.
Not sure about the first song, feels a bit amateur and I'm not a fan of your hi hats and snares. Second song however, is really, really awesome. Nice one.

I'm going to try to get more hi hat samples, and it would be better if i panned a number of them. Thanks though dude, the second one took a while. In the second its a different snare. I'm having a hard time mixing down a lot of the vengeance snares and even kicks with the second song and the first i haven't tried to change with the snare so i'll do that as well. I'll see what i can do for the tempo. Thanks
Listen, I know they're a very well-known sample pack (Vengeance). But please, don't limit yourself to JUST vengeance, it's not the only professional-standard sample pack out there. And quite frankly, I really dislike Vengeance, because they mainly extract their drums from the drum tracks in extended mixes from actual songs.

I'll look into my files
Why does that make you dislike the samples?
It makes me dislike them because they're copying professional-standard producers' hard efforts, and labelling them as their own, selling it, making them look like they genuinely made 350 of hats, snares, kicks, etc. To be honest, I sometimes do use Vengeance for my kicks, but I use them, then I add/remove/layer them with others, and compress/EQ them to shit.

I mean, they're drum sounds, they can only get so diverse.
