For those of you wondering what this is: During Civilization 5's installation, they ask you to choose a charity, and the developers donate some money to the charity you choose.
They said they're donating 250,000 in total to education based charities.

The feature is quite useless until the game is released. Would make more sense to release a steam update the day before the game unlocks.

Not everybody updates the day it comes out. This way, it's more likely that people will be able to use the feature when the time comes.
