I'm raising money to attend the London International Science Forum

Hello there,
you may not know me- I am a long time lurker. Like I've seen many others say, I've been treated well by Facepunch and learnt a lot (especially when I was young). This includes things like grammar, but also general thoughtful discussion and how to take constructive criticism. Yet now I ask something of Facepunch in my time of need.

I'm raising the capital to let me attend the London International Youth Science Forum - an event usually only attended by the best from each country, although thankfully I'm in the UK and so it's far easier to get in. There, I'll be given a chance to attend lectures from some of the leading minds in the science world, in all sorts of fields (Artificial intelligence was a popular topic last year). Ontop of this, the networking potential is priceless. For me, this will help me greatly in getting into the university of my choice. Unfortunately the issue is that it is £1700 in total. I'll be writing a lot of letters to local companies and the British Council etc. ontop of this online approach. There are more details in the attached link, I'm only providing a brief summary.
