From what I heard, there were massive raid squads of people using cheats and ruining the game for other people in basically every server since everyone had the game now.

Marketing for new games (everything that has been free has had a sequel available) and keeping up with Origin I guess.
I kind of wish Sniper Elite V1 was free too, more people should experience that game, its the greatest sniper game ever.

And it's something devs should do more, especially when the game is at that point where it gives next to no sales anymore.
