Calling it now, someone's gonna mod in pools
Now to make a race of talking, walking, pensises
Pool and toddler joke.

Pool support, but only in the nude patch.

Who's to say it's already in the disc? Anyway, I'm a little mixed right now. If good reviews pop out a while after launch then I'm probably getting it.
Tod mod
Game set and match, really. Modders can and will fix anything with the proper support.
Calling it now, someone's gonna mod in pools
and mod in all the dlc
So this means it will be easier do develops mods for the Sims 4?. If true, it's a pretty big step into the road to improve a game which has been bashed with negative opinions before his launch.
I kinda want to buy the game now

Actually, the game was pretty widely received in a positive light until recently. It was all good until they said no pools, and suddenly the game became the biggest most egregious insult EA has ever produced.
You know, like every other biggest most egregious insult EA has ever produced.
Well, at least we can still hate Activison.

Would you prefer I hop on the bandwagon and shit on the game for being a poor sequel before any of us have enough information to make that claim while ignoring all of the good stuff they've been doing with it?
It has nothing to do with being edgy or contrarian, I just think jumping to conclusions is fucking stupid.
Get the Sims 1 authentic feel by installing the Comic Sans MS mod

Someone should remake this
Depends on how extensive the support is will determine how I feel about the game. If you can actually mod in pools without some crazy workaround or do Skyrim-levels of editing, then it's fucking golden.

I doubt it'll be extensive enough to make something like pools, but I certainly hope otherwise.
At the very least it's pretty likely we'll get pools at a later date, and based on their track record with Sims 3's patches, they might even come free.
I hope this is the biggest feature for The Sims and everyone applauds EA for it. I want to see modding return to EA's games. Battlefront/Battlefield/Mirror's Edge need modding support.

EA returning modding support

I'll believe it when I see it.
I will never accept the sims until my sims stop dancing like idiots
If boyz n the hood is playing to not twist sims

Steam Workshop support?
[sp]I'm serious. They released TS3 on to Steam and have constantly kept it's DLC up to date with release dates after they pulled their major titles. Even though EA wants to push Origin, if the Sims 4 has true Mod support; the Steam Workshop would be the perfect distribution platform then going from website to website.[/sp]

why do you think they made Spore

I've always hated the idea of a Sims 4. Just like I hated the idea of a Sims 3. Both of them are absolutely fucking pointless returns to status quo where they cut out even more content in order to release them in another cycle of 12 expansion packs all priced at $39.99 each. It's a fucking disgusting and hollow vindication of a series that has some originality to it. What's worse is that everyone will still buy it and bitch about it but they'll keep on buying the expansions anyway. EAxis will keep cranking them out, because they don't care. They've got your money already.
And I'm not even saying this to be contrarian. This has been my view since Sims 3 was announced. I didn't buy any expansions for Sims 2 past FreeTime because I knew they were just gonna crank out more shit that I already had via mods or in the Sims 1.
It's repulsive and greedy and I can't have a Tragic Clown painting anymore so fuck 'em.
DLC for Sims 4 = Bad
DLC for Sims 3 = Bad
DLC for Sims 2 = OK because I liked Sims 2
