Yeah, you know those one joke and extended jokes that go nowhere, well this video is it. Seriously, I would defend Smosh because people keep saying they've gone stale, but now after this video, I don't know. Well, here it is... If you ask me, I think Shane Dawson is a worse offender when it comes to thumbnails. But yeah, the thumbnail is just a stupid gimmick here regardless.

I stopped thinking smosh was funny maybe in 2009. They seemed to get desperate, and just had the most fucking obnoxious thumbnails and intros ever. Edit: Corrected date. And, I did actually enjoy Smosh a lot many many years ago. I will attribute much of his to me being younger, though I still think they just fell off the deepend.

I just don't know where to post it and I guess I want people's opinions (not just on the video but Smosh in general). I usually love Smosh and can forgive them for their bad videos. But I make no exaggeration when I say that this is the worst video they've done.

I thought their early videos were decent for the time but yeah they have long since resorted to all the typical popular youtuber ways to draw in views with little to no effort (they started going really downhill around 2009): misleading titles, misleading thumbnails, "Lol so randumb XD" humor, meme references, etc. Their in the same class of humor as iJustine, PewdiePie, Shane Dawson, etc. aka the class of youtubers that just pander to the lowest common denominator for views.

I chuckled a bit.

Its like an amalgamation of everything I find dumb Stupid faces, inclusion of large breasted women for painful "humour", random repetitive, eventually-they'll-snigger level attempts to be funny, and not a single intelligent joke in the entire video

getting hit in the face with a brick would be more fun than watching Smosh

After watching the video, I still feel the same. The concept is good, and probably something FreddieW and CorridorDigital could make... entertaining. But they threw in like a 10 second shot of water on a girl so they could use it in the thumbnail. And they still acted like they were trying to be in slow motion versus... letting the slow motion do it. And nothing happened. There was no real punchline for the 5 minutes of video. They should have stuck with the shelf of incredibly fragile things more and kept that joke going.
