This is my hometown, I know and recognize most of the cops here. They are usually some of the best cops I've seen, and we've never had a problem with any police "abuse" i guess. Sad that there's a bad apple among them.
Why would they throw her in like that? The human body does not like heavy impacts with concrete. Still nice to see that they realized their mistake and helped her though.
Even if she refused to enter her cell, that doesn't mean you're allowed to shove her in and risk fatal injury. Depending on how she landed she could've died. This is outrageous and I'd like to state at this point again that you're 8 times more likely to be killed by a police officer than a terrorist. Still, the policemen have helped her afterwards which shows some form of regret. But how can one be so rude? Isn't it to "Serve and Protect" ? As a german I'm terribly frightened of american cops due to all the media coverage they receive, mostly negative.
i think this may be one of those moments where you get caught up in the moment and forget there is an obstruction like the bench and use too much force and then immediately go "oh fuck oh fuck". like when drunk people get in fights and then someone bangs their head and dies - no one was intending it to happen but it's very sad and there is definitely someone to blame but anyway cops shouldn't be doing shit like that
fucking disgusting use of power.
Watch it again. She plants both arms on either side of the door to avoid being put into the cell. He puts too much force into the shove and she trips and face plants. Yes, he put too much force into the push, but this isn't nearly as bad as they are making it out to be. Unsurprising, given the name of the source.
Meanwhile, hundreds, thousands of cops help out the community and are good people. fuck all of you. HUUUEHEUHEUEHUEHEU DEES GUIS DID SUMTING BAED DAT MUST MEEN ALL CUPS ARE BAED!!!one1111 Xd (User was permabanned for this post ("alt of mightymax" - Orkel))
Still nice to see that they realized their mistake and helped her though.
They didn't realize their mistake, they just had to treat her wounds. It's not accidental or a mistake to launch someone into a room.
Why the fuck would you make cell bench out of concrete?
They didn't realize their mistake, they just had to treat her wounds. It's not accidental or a mistake to launch someone into a room.
It was definitively not intentional to hurt her.
Yes, he put too much force into the push, but this isn't nearly as bad as they are making it out to be.
Way too much force, he puts his whole body into it.
Why would they throw her in like that? The human body does not like heavy impacts with concrete. It wasn't the best choice, but if this is the only situation in which this guy has done something like this then it should be considered a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes. When you are a cop they can have more significant consequences, but that doesn't mean they won't happen.

At least her shoes are in an orderly fashion.

I think this was a really bad, stupid mistake. He could of put her arms down, and he pushed her too hard, but I don't think this was intentional, just bad judgement.
Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't policemen more common than terrorists ?
If "terrorist" counts as armed religious or political extremists, we may have to bring some numbers on the table. I don't know if America's police force outnumbers every violent extremist organization.

There is no excuse.

You don't have hundreds of thousands of terrorist within the United States. Your also more likely to be killed by most other things [editline]10th October 2013[/editline]
If "terrorist" counts as armed religious or political extremists, we may have to bring some numbers on the table. Your chance of being killed by a terrorist attack in the united states is astronomically small.
I think she may have lost her footing, and fell. Still not way to treat someone, even if they are being unruly. The cops there looked fairly strong, and it's not that hard to over power someone when you're -trained-. I'm glad some cops came in to help her.
