Steve St. Felix, 34, was charged with threatening state Rep. Jose Felix Diaz after posting to Facebook that he would kill the Florida lawmaker, the Miami-Dade Police Department said in a statement on Tuesday. St. Felix allegedly posted a message to the lawmaker’s Facebook on Sunday saying he would kill him if he showed up to a meeting, the statement said.
http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/florida-man-arrested-over-online-death-threat-state-lawmaker-n777256
That's one hell of a mugshot, I have to say.
That mugshot is the definition of a shit eaters grin.
judging by that grin I would imagine that it was worth it to him lmao
The more that Republicans blatantly screw over the common man for a quick buck, the more this sort of thing is going to happen. I'm not saying it's right or good, but it's not like they haven't brought this upon themselves.
I don't get it how people seem to think that online death threats aren't real death threats. Besides, if you disapprove of someone's decision making, a death threat will achieve nothing.
Holy fucking shit, that is a nightmare face.
I don't get it how people seem to think that online death threats aren't real death threats.
Making a death threat is obviously a horrible thing that only shitty people will do, but I honestly doubt that a majority of those who do so have any sort of intention to follow through with it. I doubt for example that game developers are ever in any real danger (from anything besides swatting, at least), but when it comes to politics, it's a little more serious.

He should volunteer for his opponent in 2018 instead.
I don't think the guy was going to actually do it, at all. Just seems like a dumb rant. I see people all the time on Facebook saying they want to kill Theresa May, but we all know they're never going leave the sofa.
What would the sentence for something like this be?
