Looks pretty awesome, but I still have doubts if it will be balanced and fun to play.
Singleplayer will be surely better though.
Camping like a baby?
No Points!

The Xbox demo was fun.
I'm sure Crysis 2 on its native platform will be even more so.
60 hours to reach the top?
that's it?
60 hours sounds like a balanced unlock time span to me.
Took around that time for Bad Company 2, right?

Thats fine.
Looks like a game I can enjoy.
oh my god i need to get money for this
I think that was on the 360 as I could see the B button prompt, possibly 360 controller on PC but regardless it looks amazing.
The narrator sounds bored as hell
Sounds imbalanced as fuck for new players going against players who have all the unlocks
If you want to retain sanity don't look at the comments on the second link (Blues). Idiots bitching about how the server binaries are private which somehow means they won't be mod tools ughhhh - COD:BLOPS is at least getting them next major patch and that's exclusive to one server company.

BC2 takes way longer than that. I've put in about 100 hours now and I'm only at level 32.

just going to stop you right there
There better be damn vehicles in the muiltplayer.

I'm sure there will be classes default that have some unlocks.
Nice dedicated servers... can't wait for this.
Dedicated servers... which you can only rent.
This distinction needs to become public knowledge. There's a difference between the type of dedicated servers that Valve for example provides, and the type of servers that Bad Company 2 and Crysis 2 provide. Valve's servers are publicly available, while the latter can only be rented at official 'partners'.
Modding is pretty much dead in that last instance.
alterCryNet coming soon

Please tell me how no public server binaries = no modding. (Spoilers: it doesn't)

If there's one saving grace about the killstreaks, it's that they actually require you to walk up to the dude's corpse and take the tags from the body, which means most of the shooty-shooty will be up close and personal, and a lack of encouragement for those people who just sat from across the map taking pot-shots at people with that ridiculously overpowered sniper rife a la Crysis 1.
Seems they're really focusing on the multiplayer, hopefully get rid of that lag that we've had in previous Crysis games
I hate leveling up in multiplayer shooters. I always get the feeling it wasn't really my fault that I got killed by a level 50 enemy while I'm only level 5. That it takes SIXTY (!!!) hours of continuous grinding and fighting against enemies with superior equipment to unlock everything doesn't make it better.

Feels like the devs always forgets this, there should always be some sort of downside to every perk/upgrade.

Exactly how TF2 was before they started spamming the new updates. It's still a lot better than BC2, CoD and probably Crysis 2 though.
Playing BC2 on a server without a level cap is nearly impossible. It's already pretty hard playing on a max level 23 server when I'm only level 9.
To be honest in BC2 most good weapons are unlocked at a fairly low level, I can do just fine with an XM8 against people with M416's and AN-94's.

I wasn't talking about the weapons, I was referring to the fact that you can make it so you see where bullets come from, see footsteps, see enemy outlines etc as high-level unlocks. That's an insane advantage over people who don't have those unlocks.
I was responding to Robber, but I see what you mean. Only time will tell in this case I guess.

They don't seem like an "insane" advantage. They seem more like a crutch, or a minor help. With surround sound headphones, you can hear exactly where people are, and won't need to have the tracers from their weapons.
