Yesterday friend's girlfriend broke up with him. I felt really bad for my friend, he's such a nice guy and he's really nervous around girls.
Now I don't particularly like his girlfriend, but I didn't let that get in the way.
I went out of my way to talk some sense into this girl and pointed out she really had no reason for leaving him.
Now they're back together today.
Did I do the right thing facepunch?

Side note:
They are happy together.
If they're happy, yes.
Let things go.
Good, now do that to my ex-girlfriend.
Yeah probably. Unless it's just forced because they think they "should" be together despite being unhappy.
I had a couple of friends who used to flirt with each other and everyone would say "aww you're such a cute couple" and "you should go out with each other" so eventually they did, and it was all wrong and they broke up two weeks later. And worst of all they could no longer be good friends because it was just a bit weird.
No, you're the most morally corrupt person ever.
Well done
I bought my dad a car two days ago
that's the kindest thing I've done

That's a lot more kind then OP
I genuinely read the title as 'the kinkiest thing I've done to date.'
Interesting how you need to prove to yourself you did something good by posting a thread about it. It takes away the whole selflessness about it.
I once found $10 outside of school, and I thought, "Well shit. Some poor kid just lost his lunch money for the week". I turned it into the office, trying to be nice. It made me feel really good inside
All of my friends said I was stupid for "Giving away free money", and when I got home, my Dad immediately said, "I would've kept it if I was you", and said nothing else about it. Suddenly I didn't feel as good as I did earlier that day
It will all end in tears.
funny thing with that car is that it was getting sold for 6000,- originally but I managed to get it for 4800,- and two mechanics had a look at it and they said it was in so good shape that they recon it'd be worth at least 45 000,- and the previous owner just wanted to get rid of it for space
it's a Suzuki SJ

fool, the only person that you made happy is the one you gave the money to, because he or she probably kept it in his own pocket for the same reason I would too

this is probably true
One time i wiped the seat of the toilet squeaky clean at my school.
I then made the largest shit ever and didn't flush :smug:
I gave £2 of change I had from shopping to a homeless guy playing the harmonica.
My mum didn't let me hear the end of it for about a week.

Did you really just make this thread so you could get virtual ratings shaped like hearts to feel better about yourself?

Stupidest question you've asked to date.
Nobody cares.

Yea OP you are a perfect example of why GD is a steaming pile of shit these days
That's not even close to being kind.
I gave ca. 100$ to Bob, the friendly British hobo today, friendliest deed I've done in ages.
Kind:

Feeding the homeless, helping your neighbor take the leafs out of the gutters, helping that cat down that branch for old lady Hamilton.
Drama:

You might be happy for a month that you have a girlfriend, you might want to go around town and show off to everyone that you have a gf, but nobody should consider having a "girlfriend" especially at a young age because as much as I know, there's no such thing as a relationship.
Being involved in a relationship is ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS FILLED with drama. They'll brake up soon.
She left him for a reason, dude.

What?
Edit: When I made this post the first picture was different, and there was no text, so the post was hard to understand. Disregard it now, the new version is much clearer.
Well, I guess if they are happy. But just because there is no reason to not date doesn't mean there is a reason to. Maybe she just wasn't feeling it you know. And I would be offended if my friend did that, but that's just me.

You're the example why we want smartness.
Or smartness back for 08ers and below.

Why would he the reason why they would want smartness back?
This makes me feel disgusted to be an Eagle Scout when I see people thinking this is the kindest thing they've done.

They don't always necessarily break after about a month, my girlfriend and I have been together for 5, and my uncle and aunt had been going out since 9th grade, eventually they married when they got old enough

although something like that is REALLY rare
