a man who believed in all that he can

He wrote a book for his little boy
An Awesome Book, he called it -- a ploy?
no, for this book truly was awesome
it was so good that publishers ignored it
so good that he published it himself
he published so many that it filled the shelves
his idea was so strong and his word was so true
and it still is -- the dreams between me and you

Dallas Clayton is his name and he is the greatest man alive
for his heart is so strong and his words are so true
and it's so, so pure that I have to warn you
if any of your friends are every down and feeling blue
just show them that book and make them smile
how could they not? his book is simply not a lie
for Dallas has nothing to lie about -- it is all just so clear
so perfectly vivid and so perfectly honest that we can't see it
and I use it almost every day to show my friends and strangers
and to let them know that they have dreams
that they have feelings and that they are people
with hearts and souls as big as yours and mine
and that they just want to be loved
like how you love them, and they love you
and how people like Dallas, you, and I
how we all, in return, love you, too.

So, long story short, Dallas Clayton releases possibly the most incredible book of all time in 2008 for his son. He sells thousands of copies seemingly overnight and now he has a program set up where, when An Awesome Book is purchased, he gives one away -- whether it is to an absolute stranger, to schools, etc. What a guy. You have to be absolutely insane to not approve of this at all.

That's touching really, but it almost seems that all overnight stars either fade into ambiguity or remain popular because of their illicit/brash/drug-crazed escapades. He will probably just get a spot on some morning TV shows, and then disappear from our hearts and minds.

it is amazing.

tells a great story about how as we grow older into adults, we don't dream anymore.

I proceeded to buy it but it'd cost me USD $32.15 to pay for everything.
