There, he joins Daniel Craig, Léa Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw and Dave Bautista.
http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=125124
What about the hateful eight?
Fuck. Yes. [editline]13th November 2014[/editline]
What about the hateful eight?
He's not in it afaik
This sounds awesome. Christoph Waltz could do a bond villain very well.
I'd prefer him to do Bond first.
YES
Oh man, he's the best bad guy I've ever seen. And the best good guy He is the best guy.
Another Sam Mendes Bond movie with Craig, Christoph Waltz and Dave Bautista? I'm in. The first two Bond movies with Craig had shitty, forgettable villains. About time they got their casting act together.

I just wish he hadn't died.
He was in Goldeneye IIRC.
Oh my god yes, he is the perfect man to be a bond villain
[t]http://www.heyuguys.com/images/2013/10/Christoph-Waltz.jpg[/t] he sort of looks like an older version of ackmadinijad but i don't know anything else about him [editline]14th November 2014[/editline]
He was in Goldeneye IIRC.
wrong goldeneye (assuming you mean the 1995 bond goldeneye since this is bond themed news)
[t]http://www.heyuguys.com/images/2013/10/Christoph-Waltz.jpg[/t] he sort of looks like an older version of ackmadinijad
Right there he looks like an older Hans Gruber. Which I would be ok with. Alternate reality where Bond goes up against Hans Gruber. Or John McClane and James Bond team up to fight Hans Gruber.

Ralph Fiennes too? This shit's gonna be good!
Chris Waltz is an amazing actor
Ralph Fiennes too? This shit's gonna be good!
You didn't see Skyfall? [sp]He's the new Judi Dench.[/sp]
Any bond enthusiast care to explain why Bond doesn't age? :v: I mean aren't his first appearances in the Cold War, around the fifties? Or are there separate timelines?
You didn't see Skyfall? [sp]He's the new Judi Dench.[/sp]
I thought for sure that he was one of the bad guys, or at least a slimy sleazebag, [sp]until that shootout in the courtroom.[/sp]
EXCELLENT choice!
Any bond enthusiast care to explain why Bond doesn't age? :v: I mean aren't his first appearances in the Cold War, around the fifties?
Any bond enthusiast care to explain why Bond doesn't age? :v: I mean aren't his first appearances in the Cold War, around the fifties? Or are there separate timelines?
The fan theory is that James Bond is an alias that multiple spies have bared. Then it's pointed out that some of the Bond films attach to each other (like the storyline of Bond actually being a widower). The old Bond films don't exactly have depth, so I don't really think it ultimately matters.

Christoph is so based that guy is a brilliant actor
Thanks guys.
I have, quite literally, never seen a single film with this guy in.
I have, quite literally, never seen a single film with this guy in.
He's at his best in Inglorious Basterds and Django.
He steals the show in Basterds. Hans Landa is one of my favorite characters ever.
You didn't see Skyfall? Just go with assuming movies aren't connected unless specifically told so
He steals the show in Basterds. Hans Landa is one of my favorite characters ever.
The first scenes with him. He played it to perfection. He just performed the role soo bloody well, straight on point. No doubt whatsoever that he could do a Bond villain, or any villain at all.
