Really looking surreal and interesting, could possibly be a good contender for Amnesia
*Toddler
That baby gets the reward for being the most manly thing ever for not crying like a baby considering what's going on.
Looks pretty damn cool, really interesting idea too.
I bet it's an allegory for child abuse and the monster is your drunk dad or something
it looks cool but playing as a baby just seems silly, I just wont be scared because I will keep remembering that im just a baby.
Like what am I going to do as one? Just crawl around?
Well fuck that, I was shitting myself just at the video.

All you do in Amnesia is walk around.
That baby is more of a man than I am.
I wonder if there are any death scenes.

Amnesia also has a lot of story and puzzles throughout to spice it up a bit. I don't really see that happening in this. Maybe it could pull of a decent story. But it'll be damn hard.

That's what makes it so scary... Why do you think Amnesia is so scary, if you had any way to fight back, it would just be a game.
When his parents wake up he's going to be in so much trouble for making that mess

I think you misunderstood what he was saying.
The hardest difficulty is baby mode.
This looks awesome.
I'm always a big fan of new types of gameplay

The whole point is to take one of the cornerstones of the Penumbra games (Feeling entirely defenseless) and ramping it up to its logical conclusion. As a toddler, you are completely defenseless. Additionally, it'll be able to more efficiently tap into core fears in human beings. It seems to me like most of the horror stems from how a small child views a dark world. The incredibly distinct noises and visuals showcased in the trailer are emulating what it feels like for a brain that hasn't become desensitized to the creaking and rumbling of a house.
I am probably entirely wrong however, but that's the impression I got from it.
I hope we get to stay in the house throughout the entire game, with the house changing little by little as you progress. That kind of free room-ish stuff worked wonders in Underhell and the Trilby series.
Maybe nothing bad is happening at all; it's just the baby's imagination.
At least that's how I experienced it back in the days.
I think it can get pretty scary simply because you play as a baby, it will make you feel vulnerable, defenseless.

Or Daddy plays with the black men in at night when mommy isn't home
Looks interesting, but at the same time looks very gimmicky.
This eerily reminds me of my childhood imagination. This was what I thought I was going on in the house when I couldn't sleep (playing 18+ videogames when I was like 7 didn't help the situation).
The child is a better parkourist than I am (1:21)
Looks pretty cool.
I support this game.
I take it the entire game is set in the house? Does it progress into deeper stages of..nightmare? Or whatever it is. Looks fucking awesome.
...
Just realised, this is that fucking Rugrats level from the game. With the ghosts. Fuck that level shat me up so badly as a kid.

Having played through both Penumbra and Amnesia several times, I have to say that limited and kinda useless defensive abilities are scarier than no defensive abilities at all.
First and foremost it pulls you out of the game when you can't at least try to swing something at the thing that is coming at you, defence is the natural response when cornered (no matter if you are just some guy or a SAS veteran). It might not do more than slightly stagger whatever is coming at you, but not being able to do it ruins it a bit.
Also that when I know I can't defend myself, I already know how (at least generally) to get out of any situation thrown at me (I already know I will have to turn around and run).
Still here you are a 2 year old child, not being able to defend yourself won't ruin the immersion.
