I can't tell if it's genius or retarded. Going with both on this one.
It's hard to tell exactly his ideals, but I _think_ what he feels is that people who are getting way too into gender identity are just being ridiculous, which I (kind of) agree with. In my mind, you are free to identify as whatever sexual orientation you wish, and you should have the same quality of life as every other gender. But, when you identify is an otherkin from the planet xorbzxly I can't take you seriously.

It ain't that simple though. Just because gender doesn't necessarily have a direct biological/physiological ties doesn't mean it's "bullshit we've come up with".
