I'm a big fan of Guy Ritche, he always does really interesting things with his movies. I'd be down to see how this crazy cinematography works for a film like this
Guy Ritchie, in my opinion, needs to go back to his old style a bit more. Get a little closer to things like Snatch and Lock Stock than his most recent films. The Man from UNCLE was okay, but it didn't feel like a Guy Ritchie film.

It does look pretty bombastic. But hey, I'm no naysayer to the ol' sword and sorcery. And I do like a bit of Arthurian legend.
I do hope we see some knights of the Round Table in this one. Maybe between their quests, they can sequin vests and impersonate Clark Gable?

One thing for sure though, what I'm seeing can't make me believe for one second that it's taking place in like 500-ish AD Britain.

A lowish budget movie with plenty of banter, stupidity, desaturation and that weird flute music played over it? Man from UNCLE couldn't have been shot by anyone else.
Not that it's his best work, but it's got his hallmarks all over it.
Looks pretty fun like his Sherlock Movies.

I kinda like that though. Fantasy films are ok to be serious, but it's good to see something that can be serious, but also be silly too, like Sherlock Holmes.

interesting (but good) casting choices.
also, will be interesting to see guy ritchie's typical montage play out with a medieval setting.
i foresee that this might be something to ride home about if it pays off.

but honestly the original king arthur texts were just as silly with everyone being off-kilter and mainly thinking with their dicks (a very common trait in mythology) so this might be a pretty good adaptation
