Tonetta is good for the soul.
Episode Summary (spoiler alert): [sp]"Will Steam Direct be better than Greenlight? I don't know!"[/sp]
15 minutes.
I normally don't hate Jim as much as everyone else does, but sometimes he's just overly verbose and spends a quarter of an hour talking about something that could easily fit into 5 or less minutes.
I think 5k is totally a fair price. Just make it so if you're game makes more then 5k, you give the money back to the developer.
the reason why valve cant approve/deny games isnt because of money or manpower, its because there needs to be a standard to judge against, without bias
outside of obvious shit like nudity, what is the criteria for a game getting denied? the reviewer just happened to not like the game?
valve actually used to do this and it was awful, very few indie games got on steam because of it
greenlight was SUPPOSED to be like this but we all see how this turned out

For one they could check for commonly used asset flips. That's not hard and would reduce the trash by a lot already.

5K isn't a good price for a single person who wants to release their independent game

When you got GOOD teenaged devs like the one who works on say, Unturned, 5k is far too much for them to pay.

I would like to request we instead have a Jimquisition megathread, since normally the discussions in these threads are just about the topic and not the video which is a bit redundant considering there's almost always a thread on said topic in either SH or In The News Node.
Sorry, you need to Log In to post a reply to this thread.
