http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMAG01151.jpg http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMAG01161.jpg I found this in a bag of foreign money. I also found 2100 Rupee, which I'm turning in at a foreign money stall at the mall. Is this worth anything? I looked up online and since it's not in circulation anymore I can't see it being worth anything. What can I do with it?
Pawn stars
keep it for a large amount of time, then sell
Rupees are tasty.
Well I just got a job but for the next week I won't have any money and I'm a smoker, at least 4 packs a week.
That's an Italian Lira from the looks of it. You've got about $36 USD or so. That's if my conversion is correct. Might not be worth much more, since it was in circulation up until 2002.
According to google, you either got about $28,850 there, or like 50 bucks in rupees. Pretty sure they wouldn't make a note that much though. Also it's old currency, not Euros.
That's the Turkish Lira.
Pawn stars
I hate that show because they always appraise shit at like 5 grand right in front of the seller and then the guys are always like OK WE'LL GIVE YOU $400 FOR IT and then the seller takes it because he is a moron

What do you expect the pawn shop to lose money on everything they buy?
That's typical. What do you expect the pawn shop to lose money on everything they buy?
no I expect the appraiser to tell them what they should buy for
My grandma had two 25,000 rupiah (indonesia) notes, but it turns out that each was worth only $2.50.
$31.50
no I expect the appraiser to tell them what they should buy for
What? Why, isn't that implicit in the appraisal value? It's a business...
Your a lire.
I did naht hit her, I did naht!
Italian Lire, I know that and the Rupees are Indian. I already converted the Rupees. Can I take this to a foreign conversion shop or do I have to get it to Euros first? Oh dang. Nice.
Can they even still be exchanged? Most European countries went to the euro making the old currencies pretty much as valuable as monopoly money.
