I should probably say that I mean there's rarely ever female presenters for video game conferences. (Like E3, GDC, etc.)

Any female presenters I can remember have always been a clueless, largely nameless pair of boobs hired by the company to look progressive. Never an actual developer from the company. It's a shame that there's so few female developers in the industry, and the ones in the industry are treated like shit by most fans for petty reasons (remember the Quantum Conundrum writer talking about leaving Valve? People called her every name under the sun for that).

I think he was restricting it to video game presentations, seeing as that's the topic :v: But almost every other area for presentations does seem to contain more women who actually know the subject matter and are more fairly represented.

There are always exceptions. I don't watch every game presentation that comes out, so it's likely I've missed a few female developers, but still, for what I have watched you'd expect at least some of note.

does Nintendo even have women presenters? As far as I know, only middle aged Japanese men and Reggie are the only presenters Nintendo has
Why don't people put men and women compete side to side in sports? Why don't people cry over that? Oh, because men would beat women under almost all circumstances in pretty much every sport, that's why.
As for PS4 news, I also found it notable that there were ONLY men advertising their new franchises and what-not.
