Another angle THIRD VIDEO : PROBABLY NOT A NUKE EDITION http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=6d6_1367712024 Is it happening? I realise now in my hurry to post this, that I have misspelled "bomb" :suicide: NEWS ARTICLE IS UP! http://rt.com/news/damascus-syria-explosions-sunday-831/
Looks like yo mama took a fart E: But in all honesty, no country deserves a nuke dropped on them. The effect to civilians and area is completely uncalled for, I do hope it is fake.
That's not a nuke - a nuke would have reached the cameraman from that distance very quickly.
That's not a nuke - a nuke would have reached the cameraman from that distance very quickly.
Let's hope it wasn't. That was humongous.
Nevermind didn't see the other angle video up. That's some scary shit if you're there.
I wonder if this is related. http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1268119

Nukes are blinding.
Nukes are blinding.
Initial blast is blinding, the mushroomcloud is not
Mushroom clouds don't imply nukes. Any huge explosion will have them.
a nuclear weapon is not the only explosion that makes the mushroom cloud. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mushroom_cloud "Mushroom clouds form as a result of the sudden formation of a large mass of hot, low-density gases near the ground creating a Rayleigh–Taylor instability. The mass of gas rises rapidly, resulting in turbulent vortices curling downward around its edges, forming a vortex ring and drawing up a column of additional smoke and debris in the center to form the "mushroom stem". The mass of gas eventually reaches an altitude where it is no longer of lower density than the surrounding air and disperses, the debris drawn upward from the ground scattering and drifting back down (see fallout)."
R.I.P. Syria. Wiped out by Nuclear Bimb.
I know it's a really common phrase over yonder, but I really hate how much they say 'Allahu Akbar.'

It's a hell of an explosion. Either a MOAB just hit a motherload of tnt/munitions or this was something a bit more sinister... pictures from twitter show a huge flash right before the explosion lighting the sky up like day.
then why did you say possible nuke?
then why did you say possible nuke?
Anything is possible ;)

But something THAT magnitude from that far? I don't want to be :foxnews: but that is pretty big and disturbing.
I know it's a really common phrase over yonder, but I really hate how much they say 'Allahu Akbar.'
It's just like how we say "oh my god".
Yes we know that. But something THAT magnitude from that far? I don't want to be :foxnews: but that is pretty big and disturbing.
Not only that, the cloud has fucking lighting and smaller explosions going off in there for quite some time afterwards. [editline]5th May 2013[/editline] http://rt.com/news/damascus-syria-explosions-sunday-831/ oh my the comments :D
It was probably a chemical plant.
I know it's a really common phrase over yonder, but I really hate how much they say 'Allahu Akbar.'
I know it's really common, but I really hate how in every single thread where there is a video with someone saying 'Allahu Akbar', someone like you has to derail the thread to bitch about it.
Yes we know that. But something THAT magnitude from that far? I don't want to be :foxnews: but that is pretty big and disturbing.
im p. sure a nuclear explosion would have instantly set off every warning system in the world.
new video is up on liveleak. Looks more like a fuck off giant non-nuclear explosion from this angle.
I hope it wasn't over a very populated area.
Anything is possible ;)
Fuck off, I have family and friends in Lebanon. Scaring people with idiotic titles like that is not cool.
why would they nuke a target rather than just use a big explosive bomb? or is it one of those nukes that have a very powerful explosion but a small radiation fallout, because the latter part of a nuke would seem unnecessary in this situation unless you want to kill all the civilians in the surrounding area.
I know it's a really common phrase over yonder, but I really hate how much they say 'Allahu Akbar.'
yes i really hate different people too, they make me so angry grrrr stupid different people, why don't they try being more like me!
I'm guessing that it wasn't an actual bomb, but instead some sort of factory or some shit going up. I can't imagine a bomb that big being useful or practical in any way given the situation.
Seemingly a cruise missile scored a hit on some big ammo bunker.
I hate both kinds of people who spam "oh my god" or "allahu ackbar" the same
