Is it just me or did this cop do nothing wrong? He had every right to film the guy back and the guy started acting like a total psychopath, the cop asked him to take his hand out of his pocket to ensure he wasn't about to pull a weapon, which the guy did not do, so the cop pulled his gun in order to protect himself. Didn't point it at the guy or anything, was clearly just for his own safety.

Yeah, cop kinda pulled his gun super quick though. But we didn't see the interaction from the officer's PoV though.
i like that halfway through the video he forgets which way is up on his camera
Cop probably would've left a lot faster if the guy had just taken his hand out of his pocket like he was asked.

That's just making excuses. If the cop was concerned for his safety, he wouldn't have got out of his vehicle for no reason to harrass a guy on the sidewalk/said guy's front lawn. I don't know all the circumstances involved, but I feel like it's a stretch to say that's for safety reasons.

the camera man has his hand in his pocket, the guy refused to oblige removing hand from pocket, gun drawn.

Okay so it's just acceptable for an officer of the law to stop you in your tracks for whatever reason they deem fit and demand you empty your pockets in less than 2 seconds or else they will draw on you.

If they have probable cause, yes it is.

the dude was already stopped, the officer didn't stop him lol.
the officer drew his weapon after the guy verbally refused.
