An American teenager from a Chicago suburb was arrested during the weekend at O'Hare International Airport for allegedly attempting to travel overseas to join ISIS, federal authorities said Monday. The FBI arrested Mohammed Hamzah Kahn,19, a U.S. citizen, on Saturday without incident while he was preparing to fly to Turkey, according to the U.S. Attorney office for the Northern District of Illinois. Khan, from suburban Bolingbrook, was charged with "attempting to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization," specialist the extremists organization Islamic State, also known as ISIS or ISIL. The criminal complaint said law enforcement agents searched Khan's residence after his arrest and recovered "multiple handwritten documents that appeared to be drafted by Khan and/or others, which expressed support for ISIL." The extremist group, which has taken over large portions of Syria and Northern Iraq, has claimed responsibility for beheading at least four Westerners, including two Americans, and positing the killings on the Internet. The charge of attempting to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization carries a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. I've always interpreted anyone over 18 as an adult. Oh well.
I've always interpreted anyone over 18 as an adult. Oh well.
Legally they are, but you can still call them a teen to make it more sensationalized.
I've always interpreted anyone over 18 as an adult. Oh well.
You can be considered an adult and still a teenager.
You can be considered an adult and still a teenager.
Yes, teenagers are adolescents and adults, aged 13 to 19, at least from my perspective. "teenager" isn't, in my opinion, a correct term for that stage of life. It's really adolescence. So a 19-year-old is more like a teenage adult, you know what I mean?

Too far, gamergate.
