http://soundcloud.com/houcemate/kanye-west-guilt-trip-houcemate-bootleg-remix Shoot me some feedback!
Eh it was alright, but this sort of Trap is usually pretty boring and doesn't have any real emotional attachment to it, but sounds pretty well produced and you clearly enjoyed making it so that's all that counts!
nice ass work son
it doesnt contribute anything to the song other than a bit of shuffling about of the composition of the track and throwing on some little builds/drops and generic trap drum programming. and dont flatter yourself there have been plenty of previous yeezus remixes. i dont see why you needed to make a thread about this (and nearly every other track youve made?) when theres the creative music thread specifically for people to post their new tracks and works in progress.
the intro is a bit slow, but i like the part at 1:09. work on getting a smooth intro with alot of progression into this, and i think it'll be great at 1:51 the 'trap hats' feel extremely cliche and forced, and some rides or crashes would just suit filling up the high end alot better. same goes for 3:40 as well the composition is weird and some parts feel very predictable, but for the most part its mixed well and harmonises very nicely. rework it and you'll have a stellar tune, but for now it's just above average

As far as the drums are concerned, to me they don't sound even remotely close to what you'd usually hear in a trap tune, unless you're solely referring to the groove. In that case I can somwhat agree with you. I can understand you feel like I didn't really contribute anything to the tune but I didn't really want to change much either. I just thought like if I added this, that and changed that, it'd make the track sound way cooler, the end. I'd like to see where you found those remixes by the way. And I made a seperate thread because A) I thought the Creative Music In Progress thread was a thread specifically for, well, mostly works in progress? and B) I was just trying to avoid it from being overlooked since that's sometimes the case in that tread. Can you blame me for trying to get my music out there? And I don't think I'm spamming this place or anything either. Last time I made a thread here was like 3 months ago, so calm down.

Well sorry I'm not very active in the CMIP thread and therefore don't deserve other people's feedback. And I never said my music deserves more attention than other people's work, ever. I just posted this tune here and in the Hip-Hop thread to get some actual criticism. I don't really need the exposure, how cocky that may sound. Besides, taking a quick look at the section, there are dozens of threads where people just post a single track they made. Why aren't accusing them of being attention whores then?
Keep posting a thread per song. Also great work as always!
