Fake or Real?
Looks like bad viral marketing for a disaster movie.
Looks a little too good to be true to me.
You actually can run into a dust devil, they are usually harmless but huge one do exist.
Its discutable IMO.

It's real, or at least I've seen a few even bigger than that before. What looked fake was how much force it had on his cruiser.
The dust devil looks like cgi to me. Looks like it could be made with Houdini Or FumeFx or something.
I find that whenever there are these fake videos created for the purpose of going viral, they always have this blur that they create which to me, is a dead giveaway

Dust devils can get way worse than this. It's just that in this case it's totally fake. Or at least, seems that way.
How to spot a cgi video:
Too much shake. They are trying to hide shitty cgi by not letting you focus on the detail.
Randomly going blurry and out of focus, even when it shouldn't be.
Filming too much of their feet and shit. Forcing that unprofessional look.
Money shot. No matter how shit the whole video was with shaky camera, blur and filming feet, they will still get near perfect shot like that selfie there.
Yeah, it's fake. When he runs back to the car the window has very obviously added effects (with that blur someone mentioned).
For some reason I was expecting the vacuum. Not the dirt tornado.
One of the dead giveaways is the clarity and vibrancy of color in the picture. I have no idea why these "fake" viral videos are so badly made, because it's not that hard.
