This isn't a joke video this time.
He's absolutely right. So far all of my best achievements have stemmed from one simple phrase that I tell myself: "Fuck it, let's do it." Silly? A bit vulgar? Sure, but it works for me. Whenever an opportunity opened up for me I just cast aside any worries and did it anyways. Following this ideal I managed to travel to another continent, teach English to pre-schoolers (probably my worst experience ever, and gave me a newfound respect for pre-school teachers, but I'm proud I did it) and teenagers, complete a journalism internship, start my own website, and now I'm about to become the community manager for a game studio.
Seriously, if an opportunity appears that's even somewhat interesting to you, then fuck it, just do it. Same thing goes for that thing, or project you want to start. Set yourself a date to get it started. You'd be surprised at what can happen. The community manager thing I mentioned? That happened because I decided to host an interview with the CM for multiple game studios. They soon became a contact, and referred me to a job. Once you do one thing, it just sets things in motion for bigger things to happen.
