So it has to look like person’s tongue, and a bit like lamb’s tongue, but I don’t want the actors to suffer from eating lamb tongue dozens of times if they aren’t comfortable with it. So it has to be innocuous and easy to eat and look like lamb tongues while it’s some molded polenta thing. That’s the triple-layered deception of the food on Hannibal.
