Holy fuck
Damn it feels good to see Samurai Jack.
Even though they're probably just stock sounds, hearing the same sound effects that were in the originals makes me so happy.
Yeah they definitely made use of the freedom Adult Swim gave them. Disembowling I think wasn't all that common in the original but they made sure they detailed it in this scene.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh [editline]23rd February 2017[/editline] I almost didn't notice the Motorcycle was 3D, that's some really good mixing of 2D/3D assets. [editline]23rd February 2017[/editline] Even better this is part of a scene Genndy described in beatbox at Comiccon last year (@ 10:00, spoilers I guess). Im really interested to see how they explain why jack isnt using his sword
Im really interested to see how they explain why jack isnt using his sword
He lost it, but how and when is a good question. Possibly gave up?
Please, don't disappoint. My heart would break.

I like how they didn't even show the story board. Just him beatboxing.
He lost it, but how and when is a good question. Possibly gave up?
Extremely unlikely. My theory is that it was left with the Guardian after the last episode with the Time Portal. The Guardian didn't leave Jack's sword with him when he put him on that giant bird as it carried him away. I think what's happening is that the Time Portal (yes it's sapient and self-aware) wants Jack first to develop, change and become as pure and enlightened as Buddha from his long, long and tiring adventure. He has, literally, all the time in the world to do that. But what I want to know is, if the prophecy also includes that Jack first becomes into a warrior king, does he defeat Aku in the future without the sword? Or does he come back, get it when he's truly worthy, go for Aku and then the portal?
my favourite episode was the one with the different shoes
I want to know why he is using a gun and where/how he learned to be so proficient with it.
my favourite episode was the one with the different shoes
Jack was the best drag queen [IMG_thumb]http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lwn4fe5NB01qd42z3o5_r2_1280.png[/IMG_thumb] imagine showing this on TV with today's standards lol
I want to know why he is using a gun and where/how he learned to be so proficient with it.
it's a bit of a stretch but he was taught archery so that might have something to do with it
Depending on how long he's been without his sword I'd say 50 years is reasonable amount of time to become proficient with a gun.
I'm so fucking ready! C'mon March!
