Even if you don't agree with him, you have to admit Keith Olbermann is one hell of a speaker.
Pretty good. "Give him a chance" from a lot of people reads like "STOP SCRUTINIZING HIM!" Scrutinize the fuck out of your politicians, just keep the scrutiny truthful. Unlike what they did with Obama
At this point is there really even a choice? He won a democratic election fair and square and the victory has already been conceded.
My interpretation of "Give him a chance" does not include his personality, his morals, and his views. He is a disgusting human being, and, as the president, the face of a nation, should not be allowed to represent the United States of America. However, we have not seen his worth as a politician and lawmaker. We know what he said he will do, but has not done so yet. I want to see how his presidency plays out. If we benefit, so be it. If we spiral down this Nazi-hole that Olbermann claims Donald is digging for us, than yes, resist.
I thought this was going to be a new outlook on this situation but all he did was beat the same old liberal shpeel drum. He's attacking trumps personality, yes it's a shit personality but we have not yet seen what he is capable of doing as the president on the business front. Liberals love character assassination and all he's doing is regurgitating what the liberal media has been droning on about. When people say give him a chance, they aren't talking about "maybe he will change his personality". What these idiots don't understand is that giving him a chance means "Lets see how good he is as a business man in office. I'm not for or against him. I just see these whiny liberals for what they are.
you kinda have to, he is going to be potus after all.
Good luck with that Keith. Keep whining.

A sentiment that I've seen on FP and elsewhere. [editline]16th November 2016[/editline]
Liberals love character assassination
I'm pretty sure conservatives love it too when it's a useful political utility.
Character assassination has to be unjustified too.

But people are going to call you a big baby if you go around screaming "AMERICA IS DEAD" or something like that. Which I've seen on FP a lot, especially the days following the election.
how is it character assassination if he's just repeating quotes and things trump himself had said?
how is it character assassination if he's just repeating quotes and things trump himself had said?
Presumably in the same way that quoting Trump himself at speeches is actually the "rigged media".
Good luck with that Keith. Keep whining.
Yeah, there's absolutely no value in criticising those in power... :suicide:

lol did he seriously just say he'd rather have Pence?
lol did he seriously just say he'd rather have Pence?
Pence might be a horror but noone is scared that Pence will undermine American democracy like they are with Trump
Pence might be a horror but noone is scared that Pence will undermine American democracy like they are with Trump
Pretty sure gays do.
I don't think it's hypocritical of Trump to have played to his advantage. Obviously the Electoral College isn't perfect, but Trump knew that and campaigned in states he knew he needed to win. It's not fair to try and use that as proof he's a flip-flopper... ...HOWEVER, the fact that he deleted the tweets and tweeted that it's good definitely is.

Pepperidge Farm remembers.
This guy seems quite rustled.
how is it character assassination if he's just repeating quotes and things trump himself had said?
If his idea of giving trump a chance is cherrypicking twitter quotes and claiming thats all he did then yeah I'd call that character assassination.
Clinton subverted the DNC primaries. Which is supposed to be a democratic process. Trump won his primaries fairly. With this in mind, I do not want Clinton in the Whitehouse. I am also concerned how people stating they want violent revolution on both sides. Make it stop.
Remember how well the Right took the election of Obama? [editline]16th November 2016[/editline] It's funny though, I can't remember taunting anybody over being 'salty about it' back in the day...
Remember Donald Trump himself bitching about Obama's birth certificate for like a good year.
Remember Donald Trump bitching about how horrible the electoral college was because he thought Obama didn't win the popular vote? They'd have been hammering on and on and on for the entire fucking term about it if that were the case. I almost wish it had been, maybe they would've actually abolished it lol.
Remember Donald Trump himself bitching about Obama's birth certificate for like a good year.
For his entire first four years of his presidency, yes, even after he showed his birth certificate.
Will be looking forward to this series. Also I noticed a subtle change in lighting. Before the election, the lights were lighter. After, they grew darker. Very fitting. [T]http://i.imgur.com/99Z0uoo.png[/T]
It's funny though, I can't remember taunting anybody over being 'salty about it' back in the day...
Because Trump's journey to the presidency drove down the already leaky basement level of political discourse into the fucking ground.
Can't take him seriously after that video with "THE TERRORIST HAVE WON" in the title just because Trump won. Honestly Trump might be shit but it's been utterly hysterical.
