What the fuck is it with kids these days? I'm in College now, but when I went to high school, many people suffered from the bizarre notion that if you had less money, you were somehow a lower life-form. There's little in life I hate more than Old money - the people who come from generations of riches and suffer from a solipsist attitude and a sense of entitlement. Spoiled, braindead right-wing fuckers. You've all met at least one of them. They're worse than wiggers.
So yes, Peewee Wankerton the fucking Third. I am poor. Dirt poor, and goddamn proud of it. I shop at Wal-mart, I think brand-named clothing is for tools, and I listen to punk rock. I'd rather spend all my time hanging out with homeless people than associate myself with royalty and the likes of you. That's all I have to say about that.
Fucking kids.
Kids these days look down upon people with less money that them mostly because of today's media. T.V. / Internet is jam packed with advertisements; "You have to have this" "You need this" "People who don't have this are IDIOTS", which causes a feeling of superiority on wealth. Also they are still on there parents money, and don't understand the amount of work put into getting that money. This makes them feel that money is extremely easy to come by; and if money is so easy to attain, then why oh why do you have so little.
I never really see that at my school. =\
wal-mart?
you filthy prole
The majority at my school are pretty much middle class struggling because of the economy.

This.
The hell is a prole?
Edit: oh.
what's a wal-mart?
You're proud of having no money?
what's a wal-mart?
Do they sell walls there?
*sips imported tea*
Same here, same here
All the fucking spoiled kids in the class go like "OH MY GOD YOU'RE LIKE SO CHEAP" because someone isn't wearing a Nikey.
so much angst.
i would agree with you, it's true.
But i for one LOVE brand name clothes AND having expensive things.
But i work my ass off for these things and maybe you should too.
it's true around here, most lower lifeforms' parents live on benefits and don't have jobs. if they're immigrants its even worse, and thats without even being racist.

Most of that shit is just as expensive to produce than the less expensive brands. I just feel like I'm wasting money.
But, Paul Smith sockets are a way of life.

This man has seen it, he has seen the oppression of the bourgeois! The filthy capitalist dogs will taste the sweet revolution that is heralding their end.
Workers unite!

I live in a 10 floor mansion with 5 swiming pools, 2 tenis courts, a gymnasium, 20 bathrooms, 10 bedrooms with 20 bitches in each one, 10 kitchens, 20 refrigerators, 10 cars, 23 bikes, a private airport with 20 planes and 5 helicopters, a missile defence system and a little pond for the ducks.
Kiss ma ass. :smug:
Middle class is where it's at.
Low end middle class, due to having one crippled parent. Working my way up. Funnily enough I'm probably one of the poorest people who goes to my college yet I spend a shit ton of money.

Money is there to be spent.
I can't really say I've had a real problem with this. Are you sure you're not just turning it into a problem instead of just shrugging it off?

Is so you people think it's actually worth something. Buy Gold.
:smug:
Being poor is a choice.
Work for an education, work for money, work for the things you want.
Don't get all angsty and whiny because you think everything in life should be handed to you. I make less than $10k a year and manage to have nicer stuff than the majority of people. I don't buy music, I don't buy games, I don't waste money on fast food, and I don't waste money on movies. My bills are exceptionally minimal, and my cost of living is about half a normal person's.
Always have to laugh when I show someone a gun of mine and they freak out over the cost when they're making 30k+ a year. Stop wasting your money, then you can afford to have nice things. If you're going to shit away a paycheck at a bar, then that's your own damned fault.
Pish posh, pay no attention to the pleb beneath thy horse.
Fight bigotry with bigotry? Nice argument there genius.
Personally I enjoy being middle class.

I wasn't aware a firearm was a luxury.

Over here, being middle-lower class (not the same thing as being middle class in the US) actually gives you some respect from other people, they get the impresion that you can handle yourself.

When you're still in education, you won't have much of a choice, you either concentrate more on education or get a job on the side. I can see what you mean otherwise though.
I would not like to be dirt poor and hang out with homeless people, but I still do think that rich people are dicks.
