Now, if you are like me, you browse Wikipedia constantly. You expect unbiased information and want to get to the facts or something.
So imagine my surprise when I heard about a project that wanted to rid Wikipedia of its political bias. That is the day I discovered Conservapedia.

Andrew Schlafly, after seeing fanny.
So let's go through Conservapedia, putting aside our biases, and maybe try to learn something new.
In other words, I'm gonna read it so you don't have to.
1. Conservatives and Liberals invent words.
Each year the English language develops about a thousand new words.
Source: my ass
The King James Version of the Bible contains only about 8,000 different words,[1] and many good words have developed since then.
I suppose you can distinguish good words and bad words.
Conservative terms are being generated at a faster rate, and with much higher quality, than liberal terms are. This implies an inevitable conservative triumph over liberalism.
Of course, it's so clear.
Let's see some of the fantastic conservative words: (keep in mind, conservative meaning right-wing 2010 so this probably is quite a small list).

Right. Or left, I don't know anymore.
Choice words:
alcoholism: excessive or addictive drinking of alcohol
Now that's the first sensible thing I've heard all day.
bedrock: an American term for unbroken solid rock underneath fragments or soil, which adopted the figurative meaning of strong values: "bedrock principles"
Damn Englishmen with their stonemattresses.
biased:
:|
Big Brother: government constantly watching its citizens; George Orwell first coined this term in his classic, 1984
That's right, George Orwell, who fought in a Trotsky-ist outfit, is a conservative.
Blame America Crowd
Words, phrases, names, it all counts!
.
born-again: it takes an open mind and heart
That's the definition.
brainwashing: derived from the Chinese term "xǐnǎo" soon after the communist takeover of China, "brainwashing" means forced abandonment of faith in favor of regimented atheism. In a more general sense, it refers to the manipulation and control of the human mind through torture and propaganda techniques.
Brainwashing is apparently derived from xǐnǎo.
capitalism: creating jobs and wealth based on a private invention, ownership and investments rather than state-controlled resources
:|
Con Con: popularized by Phyllis Schlafly to highlight the deception and risks inherent in proposed national constitutional conventions
Popularized, bhahahahahhahha.
cyberbullying: a type of obnoxious and hurtful liberal behavior on the internet
Explains all of FP's actions.
decrypt: military code-breaking, which played an instrumental role in World War II in deciphering enemy codes that many felt were unbreakable; illustrates the "can do" approach of conservatism in a patriotic way
Can do even drugs, used often throughout the writing of this article.
egotism: the root of atheism, as explained by Paul in Romans 1:21-22; the root of depression and anxiety also
The root of Atheism is actually Theism.
hypothesis: a suggestion, typically scientific in nature, which must be tested and proven before asserted as truth
teehee now alright thats enough of that shit
2. Socialism

High Five!
It ties into the liberal page, how cool is that.
A liberal (also leftist) is someone who rejects logical and biblical standards, often for self-centered reasons. There are no coherent liberal standards; often a liberal is merely someone who craves attention, and who uses many words to say nothing.[1] Liberalism began as a movement for individual liberties, but today is increasingly statist and, as in Europe, socialistic.
you damn self centered liberals who want socialism i guess
It ties into political correctness too.

Andrew Lloyd Webber's shows are taking a serious decline in quality.
It is now acceptable in many Universities to have courses on gender, homosexual and African American studies, which, in fact, encourage the mainstream public to become different to avoid criticism.
Homosexual studies? I think I know just the guy.

srs expert
alright that's enough of that shit (hurr)
3. Women

Andrew knows all about the ladies...
Women also have a greater proportion of fine vellus hair over certain areas of their skin (such as their face and legs) than the coarse terminal hair which appears on men.[Citation Needed]
citation needed?
Historians usually attribute this lack of impact to the centuries-old oppression women faced.[Citation Needed]
what
Genesis further elaborates that God took a rib from Adam, the first man, and from it created Eve, the first woman, as a helper for Adam when the animals, which had been created for that purpose, proved unsuitable:
see: confuratives
According to some biblical literalists, Eve caused sin and suffering to come into the world when she convinced Adam to eat from The Tree of Knowledge, an act directly forbidden by God Himself. As punishment for this, God declared that women shall experience great pain in childbirth.
Why else would there be pain when you deliver a large object through your vagina. Also the fucking citation for this is Genesis 3:16.
Saint Paul also has much to say on the status of women in society, most memorably that women should submit to their husbands just as the church submits to Christ. Most of these things are not believed by even the strictest Christians, and such views are considered extreme by even the most conservative Christians.
hard to believe that, considering the first line of the women article is about shitting babies.
The New Testament contains several instructions regarding the role of women:
1. Women are to dress modestly and not wear "broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array."
2. Women may learn in silence, but may not be permitted to teach men[9]. Some interpretations limit this rule to the teaching of doctrine.
3. Women are not permitted to speak in church.
4. Women are to be subservient to and follow the instructions of their husbands.
5. Women "shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety."
you won't have time to do any of those things, not with all the babymaking you'll be doing.
Feminism!
Feminism originally was an expression used by suffragettes - who were predominantly pro-life
huh
4. SCIENCE!
It is very important for an intelligent person to be able to distinguish real science from junk science
right
Since the beginning of modern science, scientists have worked under the assumption that their subjects of study have been controlled by consistent natural laws. There is good evidence that this assumption was based on the Christian view that the laws were created by a consistent creator Who didn't change those laws on a whim.
right
TO THE EVOLUTION PAGE!
no wait evolutionism
Evolutionism, as opposed to Creationism, is the advocacy of or belief in biological evolution.[1] Therefore one who believes in or supports a theory of evolution[2] would be referred to as an evolutionist. Evolutionism, used in a general sense, encompasses any type of biological evolutionist. Broken down into two categories, "Evolutionism" and "Evolutionists" usually involve Atheistic/Agnostic Evolutionists (evolution without God) and Theistic Evolutionists (evolution with God). Those categories can be further broken down, but they are the main two.
It's an entertaining site :saddowns:
and they've got info on most every form of pseudoscience and woo, too, so that's nice
They had the founder of Conservapedia on The Colbert Report and I was shocked to see that he is fucking for real. I always assumed that this was a brilliant parody site but it isn't.
How could this happen
He got caught up in his own creation.
Oh no, he intended this all along. Andy's fucking nuts, and Conservapedia is a perfect reflection of his twisted mind.
this thread makes my head hurt :psyduck:
I just skimmed the OP but did you know this guy is the son of Phyllis Schlafly, the woman who was against the feminist movement and the equal rights movement.
Conservapedia are the biggest joke ever. I often read their news section for a laugh - it's worse than Fox News.
