Doesnt look to bad. But i bet the real campaign wont be that cool
Haha did that guy really just kill 8 dudes by shooting a fire extinguisher? You can't even do that in HL2 and there's explosive barrels all over the place.

I think it just knocked them over. Then again this is call of duty :v:
Looks decent. I'd quite like to know what "the rods" are though. Was American decimated by massive cocks from space?
I like how you can still hear gun sounds in the trailer that haven't changed since probably Call of duty 2
Looks decent. I'd quite like to know what "the rods" are though. Was American decimated by massive cocks from space?
The Rods are a kinetic energy weapon shot out of satellites from Earth orbit. These rods are the size of a telephone poles and made of Tungsten, the point if it being shot from Orbit makes it gain a shitton of potential energy and when it hits it target it decimates the generally the entire area of where it landed with no explosion or radiation. These were is used End Game or End War what ever that Tom Clancy game was a like a super weapon. So yes these fuckers very, very powerful.
Did the deer at 0:43 have pop-in textures, or was it just the ridiculous DoF with a range less than 2 centimeters?
It's not the best trailer and it's not the best game, but it will still top the sales charts. BEHOLD! They have discovered how to harness the power of inertia!
At least the music is better than Battlefield 4.

Are they trying to beat Splinter Cell's nightvision goggles?

Seriously, does this exist?
Looks pretty interesting, actually. Sure most people here will hate it just because it's cod and continue to make the super funny not worn out dog jokes, but I might check this out, actually.
Also like how there's actual music in the trailers, not skrillex's first foray into electronic music like most have nowadays.

Yes, they're real. Very expensive, relatively new, but they exist.
I'm more impressed that the dog highjacked a fucking helicopter

He's still not this dog.

So who is it this time?
The Chinese? Russians?

The dudes who went after bin Laden (might have) had them.

oh wow, they really ran out of ideas
"A man who truly loves his country, doesn't just give his life. He gives - his sons"
This sounds terrible

To be fair, people have been whining for years now about how Russia is always the enemy. Atleast a South American force is new.

The trailer looked good (CoD trailers always do) but that line was so creepily jingoistic it kind of ruined the last part of it.

Here take my sons in the name of my country.
I think I will wait and see what happens with the PC version of this one. I probably won't get it until its on sale for cheap or a steam buddy gifts me it, dude to the lack of any proper dedicated servers/mod maps and modes/rcon support on anything after WaW. Although the campaigns are always a blast, so I will probably get it eventually just because of that LOL.
I think they could do some pretty neat things in terms of story. Thematically, the plot almost seems reminiscent of the fall of the Roman Empire. The less-powerful parts of the world (those south of the equator) are kicking in the door of a weakened, aging superpower (the United States). I'm not sure how the plot will end up but so far it seems to be a losing battle (though I'm sure some sort of deus ex machina will save America). That's Roman Empire as fuck alone. Add in the lines about "a real patriot doesn't just lay down his life but also the life of his son" and you've even got the extreme attention to duty and hereditary honor.
Dogs also. Somehow.

This is CoD, you're way overthinking it.
They ran out of ideas how to include the Russians to the game, and thus they went looking south for someone else, and chose the most powerful country there. That's it.
Next come the Chinese.

China has a larger military than every country in South America.

Source please.
These are literally only for pilots.
They're not good for looking at any sort of distant object.

Except for MW2 where you go to Rio de Janeiro and fight South Americans, or how the main villain in Black Ops 2 was South American.
