(Haven't made a thread in a while, still ignorant on the whole what goes where, feel free to move this if it's in the wrong area.)
Alright, so, some days I just can't get any sleep at all. Literally, no sleep at all. For example, I wake up at around 6:30 in the morning and sometimes I can't get any sleep during the night and end up being awake all the way through 4:00AM. I have insomnia, and I have a strong feeling it has to do with that, but I think it may also have to do with sleep deprivation. During the time that I'm awake beyond the point I should have been asleep, I start to feel terribly ill (Feelings of vomiting, dizziness, fatigue) and think that I'm pretty much going to die. Now, I'm not sure how to reverse the whole Insomnia thing because it comes to me at random. The only time it actually effects me over long periods of time is during the Summer vacation (Eg. Wake up at 10, 11AM or Noon, don't get any sleep until 4AM). I'm not sure what else I can do to get rid of these effects. I get to bed by 9PM, but sometimes I'm just laying in bed, not tired at all, until around 3, 4, or even 5 in the morning just thinking. I don't know if it has to do with my diet or exercise. Any advice from someone who has gone through the same ordeal is highly appreciated.

Crap, I think this is going to turn into a "Go see a doctor, FP is not your local Hospital" threads.
Go see a doctor. No really, go see a doctor. I've had insomnia for 2 months and haven't died. I just ended up sleeping for 2 days straight after 2 months of not sleeping. But I've never started feeling dizzy and stuff. Just go see a doctor.
I have a friend who had similar troubles. He went to doctor and told him about his problem with sleeping, got sleeping pills and now he has relatively normal sleeping times and such.
I've got some sleep deprivation, but it's not too bad. I just can't focus sometimes if I only sleep 4-7 hours. Rule of thumb - if you can only sleep under 4 hours, don't sleep. You might go better without, and you will certainly fall asleep next night.
You should go to see a doctor.
Yeah, I have had little sleep because of school.

Well it's true. Would you rather get biased advice or proper advice from a doctor?

I've had Insomnia for the last few years. I think me feeling terribly ill might be related to how I usually get the cold during Winter. I'm sure I can get at least some advice from members on here.

Well if you're feeling dizzy during the winter then it just might be a cold. Because that's exactly what I got just this last weekend to be honest.
I have the exact same problem. Do you too have trouble eating during the first half of your time awake? Like, you have to force it down.
I have the exact same problem. Do you too have trouble eating during the first half of your time awake? Like, you have to force it down.
No. I don't usually eat in the morning (Even though it's important) because after cleaning myself up and getting dressed time just flies by.
Oh god here comes another thread where every 13 year old on this forum diagnoses themselves with insomnia. I fucking hate these threads.

Because obviously TAU! is 13 yea? A mod can close the thread once his question is sufficiently answered.
Still feeling ill, most likely going to stay in from school today. Going to see if I can try to stay up until around 8 to tell Dad.

I'm sure we can all have a mature discussion on this matter without younger members turning into hypochondriacs.

tau is not 13
you dumb faggot
You could start hallucinating if you keep getting this few sleep.
Faggot isn't a proper insult, also fail since you are >13 most likely since you raged. :v:
You could start hallucinating if you keep getting this few sleep.
Hallucinating is awesome.
I'm thinking Theraflu may ward off the effects of this sickly feeling, but it might not work in the long run.
tau is not 13

What. The hell. God dammit, man.
I can function better with no sleep better than I can with under 4 hrs, cause with that little all I want to do is sleep, unless the night before I was REALLY antsy.
tau is not 13

Jesus fuck relax. I didn't say tau was 13. I said a bunch of 13 year olds are going to come in here claiming they have insomnia because they go to bed at 3am.

This has happened to me before, but it was only a few minor things. Like, in the corner of my eye I could see a penny on the desk. After a while, I thought it was a roach. So, I hit it, and after lifting up my hand I remembered that it was a penny.

It's Imperium's new weapon against heretical xenos , like you. I hope you so are deprived of sleep, that you will not pull your pulse rifle's trigger for a second, and in that second, a Guardsman will send his bayonet to your neck.

Well it could develop to whenever you see water flowing you imagine that it's a huge stream of flowing worms. Your mind comes up with sick things when you didn't have enough sleep (for a long while).
Oh and it could be 'asleep' for a long while and then suddenly manifest.
Every time I feel sick I just get high off of Weed. It really does help.

I thought sleep deprivation is kind of, you know, what insomnia causes.
If I don't try and moderate my sleep, I can easily find myself going to sleep at 4am and wake up at 12pm. If you genuinely can't hold a sleep cycle of at least 1am to 9am (and you don't have depression, in which case, DO go see a doctor, because quite often they're related!) then just get some regular sleeping tablets.
In Australia, you can easily get "Restavit" over the counter and I always keep them on hand just in case - usually a quarter of a tablet will be fine (Doxylamine Succinate 25mg).

I tend to oversleep by a fuckton
I go to bed at 4am, and I'll wake up at 8pm the next day :[
I dealt with insomnia for 2 years before I found out it was related to something. Found out I have Graves Disease. Go see a Doctor.

That's pretty serious man. You should try and set your alarm for 8~ hours after you go asleep and try and stick to that.
But yeah, get some help. Tablets aren't going to help you here...
Go to a testicular cancer support group then bring down society.
