A set of identical twins will celebrate their birthdays on different days after being born either side of midnight on New Year's Eve.
Margarita Velasco went into labour on December 31st in Tampa, Florida.
Baby Marcello was delivered by caesarian minutes before midnight.
His brother, Stephano, was born moments after 2010 began.
Juan, the twins' father, said it would be fun for the boys to enjoy birthday parties on different days when they were older.
He added he was relieved both babies were delivered safely after a "high risk" pregnancy.
Born ten weeks premature, the twins are expected to remain in hospital for two months.
WTF.... That's all I can say really. That is pretty much the biggest cluster fuck I've ever heard of.
Edit:
BOX.
Anyway... Yeah I thought this was about twins being born ten years apart not minutes....
And in other news people were born on February 29th.
I said it yesterday, and I'll say it today.
Fucking news worthy stuff! [/Sarcasm]
A bit like NZ news on TV.

Haven't thought about that actually, what does their passport say? How do they celebrate their birthdays?

On February the 28th, or March the 1st :downs:.
Twins are born every day.
Their birthday parties would suck because people would be attending countdown parties instead.

Who cares? It's entertaining to read, the section isn't called "Important News", stop bitching.
Being born on a holiday means one less day of the year to justify binge drinking.
Marcello's gonna be all "Stephano! you fucking 10'er! you have no say in this!"
Read about this earlier today.
Wasnt there something imilar to this 10 years ago and the twins were born in different milleniums
I wouldn't feel like being a twin if your birthdays were on seperate days.
Haven't thought about that actually, what does their passport say? How do they celebrate their birthdays?
they age at quarter normal speed
honey i like you the most because you were born in 2010,
that other little bastard was born in 2009 so i don't care about him.
Haven't thought about that actually, what does their passport say? How do they celebrate their birthdays?
Their passport says February 29. They celebrate their birthdays on March 1, most likely.
So one twin can always say "Yeah, my little twin brother was born last decade" :smug:
Its worse when one of them ends up being born on a leap year.
I am a twin
Would you both happen to look like your avatar? I think I've seen you before...
And in other news people were born on February 29th.
Does that mean they age every 4 years, HOLY SHIT IT'S BENJAMIN BUTTON...sort of /caps
Would you both happen to look like your avatar? I think I've seen you before...
Have you seen This Man in my avatar in your dreams?
If a guy named Juan has a son, I wonder how strong the temptation is to name him Juan II.
huhuhuh ok 2010 jokes are over!!
On Stephano's 21st birthday, he'll have no one to drink with because everyone will be hung over from Marcello's party (and New Years.)
I guess nobody thought about the people born a milennium apart, did they? I'm sure twins were born on either side of 2000.
