it LOOKS good, I just hope the devs will actually stick with it.
(the stomping land was horrible. They even left dev mode in and I could wireframe people and see them anywhere :v:)
I understand using a high profile streamer, but Lirik, in my opinion, is the brightest person to use as an interviewer.
It's neat to see a developer choose this route though.
If this has a great single player campaign that uses the mounts I'm excited.

Sounded really good based on Lirik's interview, but I'm still gonna heavily temper my expectations.

Well the focus here seems to be PvE rather than PvP, so that's a pretty stark contrast right there.

Looks pretty professional compared to most recent survival games. Glad to hear it's not going to be PVP exclusive.
So there's giant...everything? I saw Dragons, Scorpions...Awesome.
All of the animals seemed to move quite slowly though, the backpedaling player was outrunning a Triceratops as well as a T-rex.
Definitely looks fucking amazing. We could set up our own community in a private server.
Just hope it doesn't end up being another Stomping Land.
The most glaring fault with this is the quality of the animations. Also, the lava cave place seemed somewhat oddly designed (floating mounds of dirt? i dunno)

I got suckered when I backed Stomping Lands because I loved the idea of it. This looks awesome as well but all I'll be doing is keeping a curious eye on it till it get released to positive reviews.
Looks a bit cooler than rust right now with actual fleshed out concept and has actual CAVES not stupid burial mounds.
Rust is just too generic and bland, it needs a theme and some flavour. Are animals really the best PVE enemies Garry could have come up with? Clearly dinosaurs were a better option.

How many survival game trailers have we all seen in the past like 4 years and been like "Holy shit this looks great!" only to finally see that it turns out to be mediocre in every possible way? What was honestly new in this aside from riding dinosaurs vs other survival games? We dont even know if riding dinosaurs controls well or is worthwhile either.
I really fail to see how this is any different and im calling it now, its gonna run like hot garbage.
For all we know, the netcode could be absolute shit as well.

At least by the time we finally get that hail marry 10/10 open survival game we will all be so jaded and cynical that it will be amplified and seem like the 2nd coming of Jesus.
I'm extremely hesitant.
