Radoslaw Sikorski, who is close to many senior Tories and as an Oxford University student was a member of the Bullingdon Club at the same time as Boris Johnson, made the comments in a conversation with the former Polish finance minister Jacek Rostowski. The conversation between the two men, printed in Monday's edition of Wprost news magazine, reveals the extent of the fallout between Poland and the UK over Cameron's proposals to change EU migrants' access to benefits. Downing Street responded to the leaked Polish tapes by saying that the prime minister would continue to stand up for British interests and deal with the "abuse" of free movement because support for the EU in Britain is "wafer thin". I'm suprised this hasn't got more coverage here, considering that polish media bamble about the whole thig non-stop.

My first thought was "You mean, in general? Or...?"

Even our foreign minister is Polish? Damn, they really are taking every job they can...
He's just jealous because we have half of his country's population here. Nothing against the Polish people here though, all the poles I've met have been really friendly :)

You see I don't mind the Polish, there is a big community of them where I live in Scotland from when the mines were on the go and they are really friendly and hardworking. But I do feel as if the uncontrolled flow of immigrants should be stopped.

We receive half the amount of migrants per capita than canada and we're still 25% below the eurozone average for migrants.

It isn't a matter of not wanting them, it's a matter of not having space or jobs left

I was not expecting "fucked up" to be an actual quote.
Romanians
Fuck you
Fuck you
Just for your record I was upset by the government sponsored discrimination against Bulgarians and Romanians. All of the ones I have met (and poles for that matter) have had a better work ethic than most brits and are an asset to society. They already blame eastern Europeans for problems they themselves make, I'm not sure if it is genuine stupidity or a callous scapegoating procedure.
The welsh.
We Sheep Shaggers get enough shit from the English already, leave us out of this.

Go ahead, show me the wild unending tide of people assaulting our nation with raw numbers, stealing jobs from good hard working folks. Pro fucking tip, you can't cause there isn't one. My (Hungarian) girlfriend is insanely devoted to her crappy minimum wage job at Burger King in ways that put me to shame when I worked for a fast food place.

My (Hungarian) girlfriend is insanely devoted to her crappy minimum wage job at Burger King in ways that put me to shame when I worked for a fast food place.
I don't think you should feel too bad. You hear a lot about English people being "lazy" compared to European workers and while this may technically be true it's only a shallow analysis of the situation. The "laziness" exhibited by English workers is primarily because we view many low-level jobs as just that - poor pay, long hours and bad treatment. Meanwhile, European immigrants, especially those from less economically developed countries, view these jobs as standard if not an better-than-average opportunity with good working conditions. In effect, they know how bad things can be. It's interesting because I was listening to a radio programme where English farm owners were saying how hard working their European contingent was. In fact, their workers were entirely made of Eastern European immigrants who work extremely hard and are always tardy. On the other hand they were complaining because the amount of immigrants entering the UK for agricultural work is decreasing and is forecasted to be almost non-existent by 2020 or so with no English workers willing to take up the jobs and pick up the pieces. The issue, elegantly side stepped by focusing on the laziness of English workers, should surely place some blame on the job providers. A resolute prediction would be that for these job to survive - with such menial, mind numbing practice - they will need to drastically improve working conditions, working hours and staff treatment. I feel like business owners are often seen as free from blame, as if they're doing a public service, allowing jobs to be uptaken for the people's benefit. I'm afraid I won't take that, they need be accountable and adapt with society and the people. If you disagree with me on that then consider that even from a pragmatic point of view, time on the clock is running out for enterprises in the UK having unremitting reliance on uncomplaining, willful and efficient hard labour.
