I'm not even talking best supporting actor. I'm talking some minor character in any movie that appears maybe even just once and play's a minor role in the particular movie.
Someone memorable, someone really interesting. You name it.
After thinking a bit, my nominee would be Tom Cruise's Les Grossman in Tropic Thunder.

Obligatory: Arthur Jensen in Network

Who was that one guy that was always in pretty much every major release? Kinda fat, jew-fro, glasses guy.
Col. Kilgore.
If you know who i mean then you know why.

As soon as I saw the thread I wanted to post this guy.
He actually had no importance or relevance to the main plot whatsoever but is for some reason still such a memorable character.

Rahad Jackson the mix-tape drug dealer guy from Boogie Nights.
Not really a movie, but the cabbage guy from the Avatar: The Last Airbender series.
Not the best, but still one hell of a scene-stealer:

Best minor character ever. IMO
The mexican trucker from Licence to Kill

Sadly the actor is dead :(

The Mountain Man in True Grit. I can't find a video of the guy so here's a picture.

Another reason why the remake kicks the original's ass.
Mr. Pink- Reservoir Dogs

Also, pretty much all of M. Emmet Walsh's roles in any movie.
I absolutely loved Roland Tembo from the second Jurassic Park. Granted, the movie itself didn't hold a candle to the first one, but the idea -that the guy you'd think would be the villain (professional, Great White Hunter) is actually probably the most personable, actually clear-headed and badass character in most of the movie- was pretty awesome. I seriously can't wrap my head around how much they could have done with his character, given that his backstory is actually an untapped issue.
The deleted scenes actually show him as a bit more of a decent guy, although I can't find a youtube clip of his major one with Ajay "Don't go into the long grass" Sidhu, where they talk about how they've hunted practically everything that can be hunted for sport, are gradually being put out of their profession by animal protection laws, and finally, are just plain damn bored with life. The end result is that Roland decides he should check out Isla Sorna so he can take out the best damn predator that ever lived.

Not to mention you can't really not like a badass who carries a .600 Nitro Express rifle.
On another unrelated note, I think Jurassic Park's other message is that badasses in badass hats come out of Kenya, because Muldoon was from there, too.
Joe Grizzly of the Halloween remake.

I can't even offer an explanation. He's just Joe Grizzly.
Eddie, from Twister

The way he took a metal beam to the face was just so touching and deep I cried

I agree. It's kinda obvious he's meant to be a replacement for the Muldoon character though, but he is just as badass. Also, is that the same deleted scene where he knocks out some dude with one hand tied to his back? I've always wondered why they left out that scene, since it's the only hint seen at a friendship between him and Ajay. In fact, I didn't even know who Ajay was the first few times I saw the movie, which felt weird, because you can see Roland being upset at the end of the movie over his death.

can someone post this scene on youtube? I don't know what film it is but sounds interesting.
Pig Vomit from the Howard Stern movie Private Parts. Paul Giamatti is a great actor and this role put him on the map.

Yes, that one. But there is also a deleted scene of them in their tree roost, and it shows that Hammond's retarded nephew was drunk, and then broke the leg of the baby T-Rex, and not, in fact, Roland and Ajay who did it. For the longest time, I swore that it was Roland who did it, so it really changed my perspective on the characters. They also talk abit, but I honestly can't remember what.
