Shouldn't you offer the first one free as well? Since it's quite story heavy?
Shouldn't you offer the first one free as well? Since it's quite story heavy?
They might have made the middle one in the trilogy free on purpose Also, I hear it's the best one, but I haven't looked at any of the games myself
I wish they had the dlc for free as well.
I already own 2 copies of it tho Along with 2 copies of Peggle and bad company 2 [t]http://i.imgur.com/OFANY0f.jpg[/t]
Comes with some extra stuff too, like the soundtrack and the artbook. Not a bad deal really. I already have the game on the 360 so why not the PC as well?
oh that's awesome if it comes with the soundtrack. the songs that play when you see the illusive man are killer.
It also has the best main theme. [butthurt]You know, the one that was completely absent in mass effect 3 and replaced by something so forgettable and generic I genuinely can't remember how it went.[/butthurt]

Hasn't this been the "On the House" game for like... two months now? Just checked. Yep.
I wish they had the dlc for free as well.
The stupid part is how hard it is to buy the DLC for Mass Effect 2. On PC you can only buy them on the bioware site, for "BW Points", can't buy them on steam or Origin, and never go on sale from what I've seen. 400 points costs $5, no discount for buying more at a time. Small addons like weapons and armor cost 160 points ($2), character and minor story dlc costs 560 points ($7) and major story dlc is 800 points ($10). Have to buy points in packs. They really go out of their way to make it as hard as possible to get all the dlc and the game legit.

Pleasantly surprised to see it all queue up for download when I added ME2 to my Origin account.

I've got a folder on my backup drive with all the DLC installers. Lair of the Shadow Broker was by far the best and most important DLC in the bunch. Otherwise you've got Zaeed, Kasumi, some weapons and outfits, a mission to visit the wreck of the Normandy SR1, and Arrival, which sets the stage for the first mission in Mass Effect 3. [editline]26th February 2017[/editline] I wonder if installing the DLC from these files without buying it would work...
Shouldn't you offer the first one free as well? Since it's quite story heavy?
Eh, it's okay to skip the first one. It hasn't aged well.

[del]Didn't the Bioware store get removed when they did that website revamp a couple of years ago that nuked their forums?[/del] Apparently it still exists.
"P-Please get interested and buy Andromeda! W-we promise, it's not as fucking hot garbage as it looks! PLEASE!"
Eh, it's okay to skip the first one. It hasn't aged well.
Nah, the first is the best in the trilogy. The combat really feels like an RPG rather than a normal shooter and is so much more interesting.
Nah, the first is the best in the trilogy. Shepard might as well be staring down their enemies. Must be why they gave us the (not)nuke launcher in ME2.
Eh, it's okay to skip the first one. It hasn't aged well.
what the fuck its like the most important game in the trilogy. it absolutely isnt okay to skip the first one.
If you wanna just play through the first game then consider getting Origin Access for a month. It's pretty cheap, you get the whole trilogy and a whole bunch of other series.
but.. no one plays on origin.
what the fuck its like the most important game in the trilogy. it absolutely isnt okay to skip the first one.
You can't play the series without saving Wrex. You just can't.
but.. no one plays on origin.
Apart from all the people who do.
Just wished that they did this for the DLCs for Mass Effect 2 and 3. They gave away the DLCs for the Battlefield 4 and Hardline using this system if I remember correctly, don't see why they can't do this for the Mass Effect DLCs. Getting the DLCs is just a pain due to the stupid Bioware points system on PC anyways, glad they got rid for Dragon Age: Inquisition and I hope it stays that way for Mass Effect Andromeda. The points are never on sale (From my knowledge), which means that trying to buy the DLCs now costs just as much as it did on launch.
The four main mass effect 3 dlcs still costing $50 in bioware points is absolutely criminal. I was thinking of finally giving 3 a go, and do my best to ignore the universally panned ending, but those prices for a nearly 5 year old game are rediculous.
but.. no one plays on origin.
All those Battlefield and Titanfall players are just a figment of my imagination then.
