I'm excited since they're great film makers but does Han not feel a bit uninspired for a film choice to anyone else? Like Deathtrooper said the universe is massive so focusing on core characters even more for spin-offs feels kind of wasted to me, especially considering we've had a whole character arc for Han. I guess he'll be an accessible character to help explore the universe though.

I'm guessing we'll get the Kessel run and him winning the Falcon, so young Lando would be neat. I'd watch a Lando film.

I hope they make solo sufficiently morally dubious and won't succumb to Lucas' retroactive "real good guy" stupidity with the first shot thing and all that.

Han solo was fun because he was kinda an asshole that was in lot of conflict with his intentions when he decided to help in the movies, a good guy by opportunity pretty much. They should focus on making him that rather than some saint. I think Guardians of the Galaxy did that alright with the entire team.

Nothing shits me more when you've got the potential to make an interesting, complex character and they just blow it out and turn him into the greatest white knight of all time.
