PC has an ATI card, not Nvidia. Keep that in mind.
The fact that it's recorded with a shaky camera, on what looks like different brightnesses of screens, means that it's impossible to actually say which is better. It's not clear enough.
Goddamn this is a shitty comparison
My card is ATI too. Game looks better if not the same as the PS3 version you are showing. Ignore Dr. Nick, it's the best screenshot I have.
I love the artifacts...
What artifacts?
Looks like it's trying to make the PS3 look better
I love the artifacts...
the fuck you talkin about
I love the artifacts...
:colbert:
jpeg artifacts
The water graphics will be better in the full game than the demo I heard. It's too early to make a comparison now since the finalized product has not been officially released yet.
jpeg artifacts
I see none. It's funny, I set fraps to take screenshots in png, people bitch about it. I set it to take screenshots in jpg and people still bitch.
There's nothing wrong with them now. They look great.
That's my point. They look great, and they will probably look even better with the final product.
Artifact Party!
My thoughts too
That's some high quality H20.
They look the same except his gamma setting is completely off on the PS3. And what is CUDA supposed to do to the water?

still not enough to make me care about nvidia
-SChnap- Ninja'd to the max. Though with cuda on the water looks waay more pleasing to the eye.
oh mah gawd a PS3 is so much mor l33t than a pc in evry way posibl
On BC2 the water on Isla Inocentes looks amazing.
How the hell did you get to the water, the full game isn't even out yet?
How the hell did you get to the water, the full game isn't even out yet?
There's a time limit removal that also removes borders.

So er- Basically the same thing that Crysis does, but Crysis does it better; and on the CPU. ... [editline]10:26PM[/editline] You don't need any hacks to get to water in the demo. The village the demo mission ends in is by the river.
There's a time limit removal that also removes borders.
Where did you see this?
Where did you see this?
Google
Where did you see this?
In the Just Cause 2 megathread here. I swear we were the first to figure it out. [editline]05:28PM[/editline] Turn on "GPU Water Calculation" if you can. It makes the water look sexy as hell.
Lol'd. It's just some FFT water code with a gradient for the whitecaps. Any DX9.0 gpu can do it. CUDA has nothing to do with it at all. This is publicity.
Similar to PhysX. CUDA doesn't change anything, the only difference is nVidia paid more money to have exclusivity. That being said, it looks really nice.
I hate having hardware exclusive stuff, it could of so easily been coded to run on either gpu or even the cpu. Money :C.
