[b]A.[/b] It consists of three stages. The first stage is this stage - people send in their applications and they are judged by what they have written in them. If they are successful, they are notified and proceed to the next stage. The second stage is an investigation, I will ask the applicants to list their accounts and I will go through post histories, ban histories, etc. I will be checking for posting style, attitude and judging the quality of your posts. I want to narrow it down to five people to go on to the third stage, which is moderator probation. They are assigned to the relevant category and after a week or so I will decide whether or not they are fit to be a moderator. If the applicant is deemed unfit, then I will go to the next person down in the list (which is arranged with the best applicants at the top). [b]Q.[/b] Will my application be shared with anyone? [b]A.[/b] It may be posted in the moderator forum. If you are a successful applicant then it may be posted as an example of a good application for future applicants. [b]Q.[/b] I think you don't like me, why should I bother applying? [b]A.[/b] As I have previously said, I am judging people by their application and not my opinion of them. [b]Q.[/b] Can I resubmit my application during the recruitment window? [b]A.[/b] Yes - make sure you resubmit it from the same email address as your first application and that you mention that it is a resubmission in the subject field. [b]Q.[/b] I can't think of anything to write for the last set of questions, please could you give me some pointers? [b]A.[/b] Have a sit down and think about some examples, it doesn't have to be on the internet. I will be marking you on your thought process so make sure you give me a good idea of how you reacted and why you reacted in that way. I will also be marking you to a lesser extent on the outcome of the situation and how you dealt with it. The last set of questions are the most important because they allow me to understand how you think. [b]Q.[/b] Will I be able to ask for feedback if I am unsuccessful? [b]A.[/b] Yes. Once I announce that the second stage has started and you have not received an email telling you that you have passed, you can send me an email with the subject "Feedback" and I will let you know what I thought of your application. [b]Q.[/b] Does regdate / postcount matter? [b]A.[/b] Yes, it is an indicator of how long you have been on Facepunch and how much you contribute. I want to know that the applicant understands Facepunch and this is one way that shows me straight away. If you understand Facepunch, then you won't have any problems. Thank you for your time.

it's been 16 months for me or something since I was banned, but that's not the point. I thought i'd sign up as a mod for the video and flash forum because I'm getting sick of the "LATE" and that stupid you are late video while there's a rule saying no posting just because it's late.
