F2P, yeah. It's gonna have different multiplayer gamemodes and skirmish for starters, I believe. Not sure about singleplayer campaign(s).

There was a photo released awhile ago showing one of the dev's working on a map called APA_Campaign or some shit.

I for one am totally glad they are using a totally original name that hasn't been used* in any other game in this series before. Was it really that hard to come up with a new name? the original Command & Conquer will now be completely overshadowed in every single google search.

Been a die hard fan of C&C all my life, but i'm not excited for this at all. I don't want a free 2 play game. I want to pay for a game, and then get a full complete fun RTS game. Not have to worry about unlocking units and then fighting completely unbalanced Pay 2 Win generals.
Do we know anything about skirmish matches?
I really hope EA doesn';t fuck this one up like they did Red Alert 3 and CnC 4.
The first Command and Conquer game I think I'll be getting since C&C3.
Looks really good from what I saw there. Of course, I'll reserve final judgment for until after more gameplay footage is released.
I hope it won't be a huge letdown because of F2P. I don't want a lower quality game with ads everywhere. Zero Hour was the best thing ever.
CNC Generals ZH is one of my favorite games of all time, I've been playing it since 2003 and I still play it to this day. I'm looking forward to this but I don't know if I like the free to play model like others have already said. It never seems to work well. Also the art style and everything doesn't remind me of Generals any more, which I kinda dislike. It's more Red Alert 3-ish, it looks too cartoony.
also, does anybody know if there will be singleplayer content?

I have all the soundtracks from Generals and ZH and it literally fits any game I play
I just have a soft spot for Generals... I hope they don't screw up 2

Do we know anything about skirmish matches?[/QUOTE] I think it's called Command & Conquer, since it's essentially gonna work as a game platform where they're gonna add several new factions, both ones from the C&C and RA games, but also new ones. Though, I agree, the name does seem pretty silly, to be honest. But it always seemed to me like the original Command & Conquer has been overshadowed by the newer titles for a long time, not that it makes it any less of a shame. I'm not sure how the unlocking system is gonna work, but I think it's primarily gonna revolve around unlocking generals, kinda like how I would assume LoL focuses on getting enough points to buy new champions. I believe skirmish is planned, but I have no idea if it has been implemented already.
Instant signed up I hope I get to be chosen. f2p games are always the best in their first days.
