One of the Queen's corgis, which appeared in a short James Bond sketch for the Olympics opening ceremony, has died, Buckingham Palace has said.
Monty and two other corgis greeted actor Daniel Craig, playing 007 in the short film.
The death of Monty, 13, who was previously owned by the Queen Mother, leaves two corgis in the palace.
The royal family's ties with the breed began when the future George VI bought his first Pembroke corgi in 1933.
The palace announced the death of Monty and of Cider, a dorgi, or dachsund-corgi cross-breed.
In the short film, screened ahead of the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Games, the dogs ran down the stairs and performed tummy rolls.
They then stood as a helicopter took off for the Olympic stadium, carrying Bond and a stunt double of the monarch.
Willow and Holly are the two remaining corgis.
And two dorgis, Candy and Vulcan, remain at the palace.
Does this put Charles one step closer to the throne?
I was really confused at the title for a second but then I laughed.

Seems like it's gone now but it was previously "Queen's corgi found dead; overdose suspected as multiple marijuana needles found"
I aborted the mission
Behind the scenes: I also considered "assassination plot suspected, army on high alert, nukes on standby"
but no
Ever since i saw this video i've wanted a corgi

Yes
shit
do Canadians have to pretend they care
we had to pretend for the royal wedding
Next time put the name of the Queen, or her nation's name, in the title because Britain isn't the only nation with a queen.

No, she's "the queen".
I am a Norwegian, and there's "the queen of Norway", then there's "the queen".

What other queens have corgis?
Most important thing to happen to Britain ever
I will keep the Corgi's family in my prayers and hope they make it through this harsh time.
Corgi's are one of my favorite smaller dog breeds, they seem to be the least yappy of the small dogs.

I am Dutch, and we name the British Queen 'Queen Elizabeth', and our queen 'The Queen'

Guess.
Where I work we have a corgi dog running around, who is always very friendly.
I bet the Germans did this.
Craptasket must feel awful hearing that his little buddy died.

Only 2 horcruxes left. Charles must be getting excited.
