Some people may not have been sure about it and this sale will bring their attention back to the game, and being a sale price, they will most likely buy it. Besides, Doom 3 hasn't been out for 17 years.
See also, the bot isn't late so it doesn't make sense to rate it clocks.

the pack is totally worth it if you don't have the games already.
Too bad I already own everything id published except Quake 4 and Quake Wars. And those two don't really interest me in the slightest.

Already own all of these games. Pretty good sale though.
Bought this a couple of minutes ago. Nostalgia took the best of me.
I also had Doom 1 retail, but I haven't seen the disk in ages.
Plus, I just like having games on Steam.
The pack is great, finally getting to play Doom 3. Although I wish they'd ship Doom I&II with Zdoom rather then with DosBox.
Would you guys say this pack is worth it?
I played the demo of Doom 3 and it didn't really feel that great, to be honest.
Does it get truly scary later on?

I think it is worth it. The original two Doom games are still as fun and challenging as I remember them to be.
I'm not far into Doom 3, but from what I've seen it never really gets shit-your-pants scary, just the jump-out-of-the-closet kind of scary. It is still fun to play though and you can't really go wrong with it at that price.
