• The best video screen capture software?

I'm trying to record some videos of my rig-making process. However, it seems every screen-cap application I try creates an awful looking image. Often I get a video that's had the hue slider shifted all the way through to blue, which looks ridiculous. Which software packages do you guys use?
Fraps paid version is the best I think. Bandicam is free and that's pretty good, although it says bandicam in the top which is a bit irritating.
I'm looking for desktop recording, not game recording xD
Have you tried Camtasia, OP? It works really well for me. Also, I think this would go in Hardware & Software, since we're mainly talking about software here.
camtasia is best tasia
Thanks! I'll try it

When I record with fraps on 1920x1080 resolution at a framerate of 25 fps it uses about 43 GB for 25 minutes of recording but on the other hand you have brilliant quality.
